His mind spun, and he leaned forward to rest his muzzle into her fur, hardly able to make enough sense of this to stay upright. He closed his eyes, drawing in her scent. The scent of herbs had long crafted their way into her pelt. "Tornpaw, I love you too." He returned.

Blueleaf nodded then briskly padded towards them.

Tornpaw's heart pounded he feels the same way! She stared at him wide-eyed; she wanted to say it would work out but the words wouldn't come...

Solareclipse looked up bristeling "I smell a dog!" he yowled.

Turtlepaw fluffed out "I smell it too!" he mewed taking a deep whiff.

Blueleaf looked around quickly to see if the dog was near. She smells it too so she ran beside Solareclipse.

Solareclipse mewed "Let's get back and warn the others!"

Turtlepaw glared at him "No, we will stay and fight." he snarled.

Tornpaw was speechless.

Badgertooth woke up; she stretched out with a low growl.

"we should stay and fight. If we have to we can send one of us to warn camp but only if nessisary."Blueleaf said quickly,"then we'll be the only ones hurt not a clan, if it's like 3dogs."

Twistedpaw kept himself near her, thoughts fleeting through his head. She was a medicine cat, this was against the code, and yet... "I love you, and nothing will ever change that." He stated.

Solareclipse didn't want her to be hurt but he knew he couldn't treat her like a kit "Okay."

Turtlepaw pricked his ears as a branch snapped and barking erupted "HERE THEY COME!" he screeched.

Tornpaw leaned against him "We'll find a way." she purred. Everything about this is wrong! She closed her eyes but I don't know if I could go on without him.

"I'll be fine."she said quickly and looked at the direction of the dogs. She wanted to run under him but stood strong and hid almost behind him

He rested his chin atop her head, tail curled around her, his chest rumbling in a purr. He couldn't remember the last time he had been so happy. Perhaps never.

Solareclipse turned snarlinf; the dogs burst out like a stamped five dogs! StarClan save us!

Turtlepaw fluffed out completely "STARCLAN HELP US!" he screeched.

Tornpaw laid down at his paws; a purr rumbled from her throat. For at the moment she forgot about the warrior code and her clan; it was just Twistedpaw and her.

Blueleaf gasped,"I think the running to tell the clan sounds like a better idea."said yowled over the noise. But she unsheathed her claws and bristled angrily as she thought of her family that was killedby a dog pack

Solareclipse yowled "RUN!" he turned and pelted away.

Turtlepaw followed

Blueleaf screeched then ran after then,"I don't want to died, I don't want to died. Sparrowclaws didn't died saving me for nothing."she muttered as she ran

Solareclipse burst into came "DOGS!" he yowled.

Turtlepaw arrived shortly afterwards.

Badgertooth shot out of her den "DOGS? WHERE?"

Blueleaf ran into camp after everyone and started to breath hard but she calmed down and went to her Solareclipse's side

The tom sank down beside her, his head draped over the base of her neck, tail swept around her. He could forget all about the army, all about the clan and the code they were so wrongfully breaking. Yet, it felt so right. There was nothing that could make him happier than Tornpaw.

Tornpaw let out a purr. She let her tail lay still and let herself enjoy the moment. His scent wreathed around her right now, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Solareclipse turned his eyes wild as the dogs came into camp. There was no where left to run or hide. The world seemed to slow down as the dogs stampeded toward them; then like the flick of a switch it sped up again. So fast no one could move the dog snatched up Solareclipse in it's jaws.

Turtlepaw screeched "Badger face!" and leaped onto the dogs face; clawing it's eyes.

Badgertooth bristled as a dog rampaged into the nursery. She pounced and landed squarily on it's back; sinking in her thorn sharp claws.

Blueleaf watched in horror. She lunged at the dog that had Solareclipse. She raked her claws on the dog's shoudl then rung onto its neck,"let go of my mate."she hissed angrily as she bit its throat

The dog howled in pain and dropped the tom.

As soon as Solareclipse hit the ground he lunged and niped it's paws.

Turtlepaw bit into a different dogs ear. It snarled at him and flung him to the ground.

Badgertooth hissed as the dog reared up and hit the ground; it knocked her down with a jolt.
