  • Nettlepelt wandered aimlessly and let his paws take him to his next destination. He paused when border scent markers hit him and he looked up to sniff the tree. ThunderClan! He was shocked he had come here, his birth home. His heart ached... did anyone even remember him anymore or had he become nothing to them?

Nettlepelt padded further into ThunderClan territory, his curiosity getting the better of him. Even if they had forgotten him he knew at least some cats would remember him in other Clans. He was a wandering hero to some and that gave him strength.

  • Olivepelt appeared out of the trees. "Who are you?" she asked. He smelled familiar but she knew he wasn't in ThunderClan.

  • Nettlepelt looked over at Olivepelt and frowned a little. "I am Nettlepelt... ex-ThunderClan warrior." He spoke, slightly hoping this cat would maybe remember him.

  • "Hmm. I've heard of you." Olivepelt wasn't sure what to do so she trusted the cat's claim. "All right, Nettlepelt, come with me."

  • Nettlepelt backed away a few paces, his eyes fixed upon the she-cat. "You have...? Wait, where are we going?" He asked, refusing to go anywhere yet without an answer.

  • Dawnpaw came from behind her mentor "hi, Olivepelt!" she mewed cheerily before turning to the stranger "who's that?" she looked up at her expectantly

  • "Olivepelt's apprentice, of course. I used to be a kittypet, until my twolegs abandoned me and Olivepelt found me and brought me to the clan as a kit" she mewed

  • Nettlepelt nodded as he listened, he had to resist the urge to spit any harmful comments about kittypets as this was not the place or time to do so. "Ah... I'm guessing you've never heard of me then?"

  • Nettlepelt sighed a little, so only the elders seemed to remember him. Then again as an apprentice he used to take the job of tick duty quite seriously unlike the others, no wonder they would remember him more than anyone else. "Okay then... so, how's the Clan doing?" He meowed, sounding a little unsure about what to say.

  • Olivepelt smiled. "We're doing fine. And when I said let's go, I meant to camp, so come on."

  • Olivepelt called over her shoulder, "Right now, we'd be reassuring you that the Clan will be happy o see you, but of course a hero probably wouldn't be nervous."

  • Olivepelt fell into step beside him. "Well, we've got quite a ways to go," she mewed. "Why don't you ell us about it?"

  • Nettlepelt frowned as he walked along with the other cats. "Well... things were going great at first, I was enjoying myself as a warrior and things were going great. Then suddenly things took a turn for the worst. I started arguing with the higher ups and other warriors as I didn't agree with some of the rules and laws of the Clan, it just seemed wrong or didn't fit. After that I started lashing out at them, disobeyed orders and other things. As a result I was requested to leave."
