    Eaglepaw let out a challenging growl.

    Sassypaw crouched, her tail in the air for a moment, then sprang at Eaglepaw, her paws out, but her claws sheethed.

    Eaglepaw saw the move before she made it. The posture of her tail alerted him. The dark brown tabby sprang aside with grace not belonging to such a large cat like him. "Missed me!" he grinned. Then, his eyes were locked on Sassypaw's flank. The apprentice sprang surprisingly at her head, full on.

    Flashpaw, the new apprentice walked in, not knowing what to expect. "hello?"he meowed, wondering if everyone was out training.Flashpaw saw everyone fighting and backed back out of the den.

    Blossompaw heard the new apprentice, and stopped her fight. She padded over and said, "Hi! Sorry about this, we're... uh... training. I'm Blossompaw, what's your name?"

    Dawnpaw bust out laughing when she saw Phantompaw's face as he got to his feet. She got up and shook herself off, still laughing. She padded up to him, still laughing, but not as hard as before. "Chill out Phantompaw. We're playing....training." she mewed soothingly, licking his cheak softly and nuzzling his shoulder.

    Sassypaw let out a mew of frustration when she didn't get Eaglepaw. She saw him looking at her flank, so she braced herself for an attack there. She let out another mew as he came flying at her head, and she toppled over.

    "Pinned ya," Eaglepaw grinned, a smile stretching across his striped face. The brown apprentice got off Sassypaw. "I'm gonna become a warrior soon!"

    "EH?" Eaglepaw padded toward the entrance. Seeing the new cat, he mewed, "Hey there, I'm Eaglepaw."

    Phantompaw already had an insane expression of shock, but when Dawnpaw licked his face it didn't help too much. He looked away, coloring under his ginger fur and shuffling his paws in front of him in light embarrassment. The ThunderClan apprentice quickly looked for something to distract him, like the fact that an apprentice was backing away from the den as if it contained homicidal mad-cats instead of playful apprentices.


    " Hi! You new?", he squinted at Flashpaw. The "squint" never failed to analyze almost every detail of a cat." Yeah, must be, cuz I've never seen you before. The name's Phantompaw."

    Angelpaw was stretching when she saw some apprentices talking. She bounded over to them.
    "Hi" she said

    Eaglepaw looked at the even newer cat. "Hey, there," he greeted her. "Name's Eaglepaw, but you can call me Handsome."

    Dawnpaw smiled at Phantompaws even more shocked expression. He looked like a kit facing a fox. She stood next to him, purring softly. "Chill, Phantompaw. I don't bite...hard." she joked softly.


    As Phantompaw did, She looked over at Flashpaw. "Hey I'm Dawnpaw.....the second Dawnpaw. Theres two of us." she mewed happily. She hissed at Eaglepaw. "YOU HANDSOME?! HA! Next you'll tell me that fish are good!" she mewed playfully.

    Scared, flashpaw quitly meowed"Hi, Im Flashpaw,worring this would happen all the time".

    Eaglepaw smiled a crooked grin. "The other apprentices say that scar makes me cool. An eagle attacked me when I was a kit, but I managed to fight it off." Smugly, he thought they didn't need to know the whole story that he had struggled free.

    Flashpaw stared in awe. He never knew apprentices were supposed to be able to fight eagles at the age of a kit. He wondered if he was supposed to too. "Wow you sound really strong. I have a scar too. It's over here on my side. I was attack by a badger. Flashpaw showed him his scar along his left side. "Do the apprentices fight like this every day?"Flashpaw wondered.

    "Nah," Eaglepaw mewed. "We barely go fighting for real. I just wish I can show those dirty ShadowClanners where they belong. WindClan got raided by BloodClan, I heard."


    <Let's wait for the others, guys. They're going to get flooded again.>

    "ok"Flashpaw said,relived."Do you know if windclan is o.k.?"

    Sassypaw shook herself off and let out a mew of irritation. "Hmph! I could still take you!" Her attention was captured by Blossompaw's mew, and she hurried over to the new apprentice. "Hi! I'm Sassypaw." With that, she flicked Eaglepaw's ears with her paw and mewed again. "You couldn't take Shadowclan. You'd run back here with your tail between your legs." She purred and rubbed her body against his, letting him know she was just teasing.


    ooc: Flooding is when you make a whole bunch of posts before somebody else who is in the thread comes back. They miss a lot of the action, and it's kind of annoying. Though with a thread this busy, there's bound to be a little of that.
