Ripplepaw needs a mentor (rc)

    Ripplepaw scrambled to her paws ignoring her stinging scratches. She stumbled to the med den with Tigerheart following then curled up and fell asleep ass Willowshine cared for them.

    Ripplepaw woke up and blinked in the bright sunlight. She was about to prod Tigerheart with her paw but stopped herself. He looked so peaceful. Making sure not to wake him she turned to slip out of the den. She let out a quiet gasp as she came muzzle to muzzle with Willowshine. "S-Sorry." She whispered. " Just leave quietly." Willowshine said with a sigh. Ripplepaw crept out of the den and pranced over to the prey pile. She grabbed a juicy mouse and lay it in front of the med den for when her mentot woke up. She grabbed a fish and ate it swiftly. Then she walked across stepping stones to get across the river to the newly won suningrocks. She stretched out on a rock purring and closed her eyes breathing in the scent of the river.

    Willowshine rubbed a poultice that she had made on his wounds and made a mix of juniper and yarrow. It would make him throw up because of the yarrow. And the juniper would make it taste good and sooth his stomach. She shoved it under his muzzle telling him to eat it.

    She massaged his stomach so he threw up more. Once she knew he was done she told him that Ripplepaw had left freshkill outside the den and he should grab it.

    Tigerheart was barely breathing, but all he said was, "Tell Ripplepaw, that i'm sorry for not being a good mentor, but im proud of her effort." That was the last thing Tigerheart said.

    "Ryker will take care of you, he may be a wolf, but he is the dearest friend of mine. Please, let him be your apprentice. P-please d-do it for m-me Ripplepaw..." his voice trailed off. His heart slowly stopped.

    Ripplepaw let out a small whimper and nudged Tigerheart she wailed "Wake up Tigerheart Wake up Wake up Wake UPPPP!!!" She would have kept up but Willowshine held her back. Ripplepaw struggled away and ran out of camp tears laying in her path. "It was all my fault my fault my fault!!" She cried. She ran and ran not willing to stop and think that it wasnt her fault. She would rather blame herself then have to see Tigerheart's still body. She ran straight into tc territory and would have kept running if she hadnt been stopped by a patrol. She fell to the ground crying and so they took her to their camp to see what was wrong.
