he was fairly mean and strict -
Hazel Paw sat bored in the courner of camp. Her tail flicked with boredem. Hazel Paw has a ginger foot and hazel eyes. She has a ginger spot on her eye and the tip of her tail and right ear are also ginger.
-
Mirage snapped his head round and looked at the cats. "Anyone think they are worthy enough to be trained by me?" He growled, lashing his tail back and forth. He noticed a few worthy apprentices lurking around.
-
Hazel Paw sat bolt up as uf volenteering herself to be his apprentice. She looked at Mirage. " I think I'm worthy." she said her hazel eyes showing no fear or worries.
-
Mirage turned around to stare at Hazelpaw with harsh golden eyes. A grin filled his face as he stalked slowly towards her. "What's your name?" His voice was deep and almost menacing but admiration also shone in his eyes.
-
"Hazel Paw." Hazel Paw said her eyes shineing with confidence.
-
Mirage chuckled deeply and gazed at the apprentice. "Very well then Hazelpaw. I will accept you as my apprentice. My name is Mirage." He spoke, pride in his voice. He was very pleased with what he was seeing already.
-
Hazel Paw's eyes filled with pride and happiness. "Thank You Mirage." She said letting her tail sway slightly making the dead leaves move from around her.
-
Mirage sat down and kept his gaze fixed upon Hazelpaw. "First we will begin with hunting techniques, after that it will be combat training." He explained, he always found hunting was a better place to start. It helped with the development of muscles and senses which benefited combat skills.
-
Hazel Paw nodded and wrapped her white and ginger tail round her paws. "When do we start then?" She asked. Her hazel eyes proved she was confident and eager to learn.
-
Mirage smirked and stood up. "We begin now. I'll take you to the forest and we can practice your hunting skills." He purred and started to walk away to head out the camp.
-
Hazel Paw lept up and followed her mentor not far behind him.
-
Frozenleaf watched, her tail lashing back and forth. She tiltede her head. "May I join you?" She asked.
Crowpaw watched Hazelpaw.
-
Hazel set her gaze on Crow Paw. She didn't reply but just turned back to keep up with her mentor.
-
Mirage paused and looked at Frozenleaf then at Crowpaw. "Sure, it would be best for the apprentices to learn to work as a team." He replied, grinning devilishly at the she-cat.
-
Frozenleaf nodded, then smiled slightly. "Crowpaw, lets go!" She called to him.
Crowpaw rolled his eyes and followed close behind.
-
Hazel Paw looked to Frozen Leaf and Crow Paw then she asked. " Where in the forest are we going to train?" She asked flicking her white and ginger tail.
-
"We'll go the dark part of the forest." Mirage replied to Hazelpaw. Mirage took them out to the thickest, darkest part of the wood where there would be more prey. "We shall hunt here. I want both of you to bring back some form of prey item. Remember to stay downwind, wait to the last moment before jumping and keep silent."
-
"Remember Crowpaw you got to be as silent as possible." Frozenleaf mewed.
Crowpaw agaoin rolled his eyes. "Yea yea." The bad-tempered apprentice murmured.
