He closed his eyes.

Just then, Scarlett yowled and scrambled to the top of the nearby oak tree. She dragged Slytooth up with her. A second later, a badger came roaring into the clearing, trampling the place they were at a moment ago. The bagder thrashed his head around, the scent of cat making him nearly insane.

He let out a sigh of relif. "Thank you." He whispered to Scarlet.

"Don't thank me YET," she yelled as the badger rammed it's brute head against the tree, shaking it violently.

"Follow me!" He said leaping from tree to tree.

She did, holding onto his tail lightly with her teeth.

He soon stopped at a strong tree.

She stopped with him, catching her breath.

He closed his eyes then opened them. His eyes were wide with fear. "We have to go!" He jumped down from the tree and ran. "Its coming..."

The badger then started climbing the tree. " Hurry!" Scarlett screamed. "THE TREE WILL CRACK UNDER IT'S WEIGHT!"
