    Sparrowfang walked into the clearing beside a small river...

    OOC: OOOH, goody! I've been trying to ease myself into the roleplaying, so an opportunity to practice is cool beans!


    Pepperleaf twitched an ear as she watched the cat enter the clearing on the opposite side of the river. Her dark green eyes swept over her in a sort of experimental way before she blurted out- LOUDLY- "Taking a stroll, are we?"

    Sparrowfang, part of the group of cats, walked up to her. "hello, my name is Sparrowfang. I was collecting herbs in the forest when I saw a group of other cats, and decided to join them" she said calmly. Sparrowfang smiled kindly.

    "You look friendly, I'll give you that," said Pepperleaf without seeming to realize what an odd statement this was. "In fact, I think I'll like you. My name is Pepperleaf if you'd like to know."


    She smiled brightly at Sparrowfang.

    Sparrowfang smiled. "Well, I'm a medicine cat. I've lived in the forest for a while now." Sparrowfang explained. "how about you?"

    Pepperleaf's ears twitched. "Oh, you know... I'm around. I was just talking with my pet rock here, wasn't I, Reggie?" She said to a small white pebble by her paw. She looked back up at Sparrowfang with a straight face, as though testing to see her reaction.

    Well, there are a bunch of pictures for Avatars if you got to My Camp, press Forum Profile, click the select from Gallery button and there are a bunch of different pictures. There's a group of different kit pictures like Sparrowfang's too.


    But I don't know how to put one of your own pictures up there, sorry.

    Sparrowfang looked at Pepperleaf and her pet rock. She just smiled awkwardly at Pepperleaf.


    OOC: I like your pet rock! lol :)

    Pepperleaf's smile grew wider. "Yes, well, you can come and talk with us if you like. Or just have some water."


    OOC: XD Thanks. I'm just making stuff up as I go along.

    "I think I'll come to talk to you guys" she said happily. She was happy to have a new friend. :)

    A young calico, about six moons old, padded into the clearing. Not paying any attention to the group of cats, he bent to take a drink from the stream, unaffected by the chilly water.

    Pepperleaf cocked her head at Skypaw. "Somebody's a little sour today." She remarked.

    "I'm not sure what you are talking about." Skypaw yawned. "I'm always like this. Anyway, I wanted to warn you about a fox that's been roaming around here. I wouldn't want to see the medicine cat get hurt."

    "Always like that?" Pepperleaf repeated. "Well, that's pretty odd. I would think that you'd look different when you get older." She said absentmindedly, missing the point entirely.
