  • Lilacflare closed her eyes, lapping up water as the river that engaged the Riverclan border flower past her white paws. The chocolate mink was doing nothing in fact, just bored out of her wits.

  • Tornheart was on another solitary hunt. She had been very successful so far, and carried two voles and a mouse in her jaws. It blocked her scent glands, and she was surprised to find another warrior nearby. She padded forward, dropping the freshkill to greet the she-cat. "Hello," she mewed shyly. She bent forward to lap some water herself, to clean her jaws of blood.

  • Tornheart's eyes widen a bit at the she-cat's enthusiasm. "I've seen you around.. my name is Tornheart," she muttered. Her tail flicked nervously.

  • Lilyflare smiles, purring loudly, "Yep! That's what I though, the names Lilyflare, miss Tornheart!" She smiles even more brightly, flicking her tail.

  • Tornheart felt vaguely surprised that the she-cat knew her name. She wasn't the sharpest with social skills, but felt that she owed this friendly cat some effort. She smiled. "Nice to meet you, Lilyflare. I'm sorry I haven't approached you before, I'm just a bit of a solitary cat."

  • Lilyflare smiled, "It's fine, I don't mind, there's plenty of cats in Thunderclan to talk to, and being solitary.. is well, fine too!"

  • Tornheart smiled bigger, glad to know that she could be accepted for herself. "I just don't like big crowds," she admitted. She lapped another sip of water, and sat back unto her haunches. Finally, she seemed to really see Lilyflare. The chocolate mink was gorgeous, and Tornheart felt a blush rise to her cheeks.

  • Lilyflare smiled, flicked her short fur, and her green eyes shimmered, "Some people... get on my nerves though, they don't seem to understand." That was the fact that she was bisexual, and not a lot of cats seemed to accept that about her, not even her closest friends.

  • Tornheart nodded, fully understanding. Her eyes grew dark as she thought about it. Her own mother and denmates had left her all alone, wierded out by her feelings. "I feel you," she murmured. "A lot of cats judge too quickly."

  • Lilyflare nodded, "Yeah, it's not fair to be outcasted because of something some of us can't really control."

  • Tornheart's dark grey, banded tail twitched nervously. "Well.. You can't tell anyone.. But I.. I like other she-cats. I can't control it." She stared at the ground, wondering if she'd scare her new friend away.

  • Tornheart grinned from ear to ear, and touched her tail lightly to Lilyflare's flank. "I appreciate that," she mewed quietly.

  • Tornheart purred as well, lapsing into silence. It felt so relieving to admit the truth and not be shunned. She smiled radiantly at Lilyflare.
