    Glimmerstar padded from her den, the slender siamese blinked her attractive wide, blue eyes. Seeing her deputy, the she-cat padded over. "Morning Nortgernlights." she mewed and dipped her head.

    "Great!" He replied. "We've been overflowing the fresh-kill pile with squirrels and fish. It's just wonderful!" The Deputy mewed with delight. With that, he looked over at the pile and saw not one thing out of place.

    But it wasn't well done. Northernlights had sent out all of the warriors at least once a day, along with his memorable apprentice Talismanpaw. What if there was an attack on the Clan? They may have been small, but they were still vulnerable. All of the warriors were pooped, and if there were to be an attack it would be probably and entire Clan against him and Glimmerstar.

    The blue-eyed beauty gave a concerned look at Northernlights for a few moments. Silence. Something seemed wrong with him. "You doubt," she mewed calmly, the only emotion in her voice, "I know my deputy well enough to see that."

    "I'm sorry, Glimmerstar," he mewed, standing up. "It's just; what if there's an attack? We won't be prepared." With a sigh, he looked toward the Apprentice's Den. "Excuse me, but I must go and train Talismanpaw now."



    What Talismanpaw heard the word Train, she shot up like a rocket and raced out of the Den, nearly into Northernlights, her mentor and her Deputy.

    Glimmerstar sat, feeling rather alone. She knew That nobody would attack.

    Northernlights was steadily going at a trot when Talismanpaw came racing out of the Apprentice's Den.



    "I want to train with Glimmerstar today," she mewed, looking over at Glimmerstar.

    A set of blue eyes went from apprentice to mentor. Glimmerstar gave a cute, crooked smile. "I could see how the training is coming along." she suggested.

    The siamese lilac seal point leapt to her paws and made her way over to apprentice and mentor.

    Northrnlights came down slowly. "Talismanpaw," he directed. "Show your leader your Warrior Stance."



    Talismanpaw knew that Northernlights would make this hard, but she did as instructed.
