  • Brazenpaw padded over to the fresh-kill pile to grab a bite, but as she bent down to take a mouse, her eyes wandered to Glaciorpaw, another apprentice. He was usually quiet, but the way his eyes danced in the sunlight... Brazenpaw had found love.

  • Glacierpaw picked up a blackbird. He was hungry after hunting the whole day. When he spied Brazenpaw, he felt her gaze burn into him, melting the icy look of his eyes. Blsuhing, he began picking off the feathers absently.

  • "S-sure," Glacierpaw mewed. e had never been one for words, and it didn't seem like he was on for it now. The silver tabby blushed again. Hoping that the other cat wouldn't feel the heat radiating off him, he bent down his head, and nudged the blackbird to her.

  • "Thanks, Glacierpaw." Brazenpaw meowed, blushing. She didn't know what to say to this attractive tom. All she could feel was her heart pumping. It was so loud, she swore half the clan could here it. But she didn't care. She bent down and sunk her teeth into the blackbird. She gave the rest to Glacierpaw.

  • Glacierpaw gave the she-cat one of his rare smiles. The tom picked absently at the black bird. Then, remembering the rules of the code, he crunched up the remainder. "No problem."

  • "You look nice today," Brazenpaw mewed. She knew how rare his smiles were, and wondered if he felt the same way about her.

  • Glacierpaw's skin turned a deeper shade of red. Oh, he was embarassed! The silver tabby's smile fainted a little. "Uh, yeah," he mewed as he continued crunching up the bird.

  • Glacierpaw chuckled with embarrassment hidden in his voice. "Sure."

<Let's continue this thread so it saves us from making a new one!>

  • Glacierpaw meekly trailed behind his bold friend. The air was chillingly cold, and he shivered as it went through his thick silver coat. He wished he had been born with even thicker fur.

  • "Don't worry, I'll warm you up," Brazenpaw mewed as she pressed her flank to Glacierpaw. She could feel his embarrasment coming off in waves, but she didn't care. It was just the two of them now.

  • Glacierpaw felt a smile curve across his face. "Yeah," he mewed under his breath. Was he really getting warmer, or was that embarassment?

  • After pressing her warm flank to Glacierpaw, Brazenpaw felt he was warm enough, and leaned off. She started trotting along, getting ready for a romantic stroll with Glacierpaw.

  • Glacierpaw tentatively padded after Brazenpaw. The silver tabby tom looked around the silent moors. Seeing that most of the rabbits had gone underground for the winter, he averted his gaze and looked back to the slim body of Brazenpaw.

  • Brazenpaw padded silently onward until she reached the Rolling Hills. She padded until she reached the top of the hill, then she meowed, "Isn't it beautiful?" She pressed herself onto Glacierpaw's side, and felt his scent rush over her.

  • Brazenpaw loved this site, the sun setting over the trees. She also remembered that Glacierpaw didn't have a family. It must feel so hard for him to love. She mewed, "I know you have had bad things happen in the past, but I will always love you."

  • Glacierpaw was mentally shocked. The silver tom nodded gratefully. A cat who cared for him. That was something new. "I-I love you Brazenpaw," he stammered out.
