  • Twitch, a chocolate tom with a white collar, staggered through the marshes near the river. He gasped for breath as he struggled against the mud that stuck to his paws and threatened to trap him forever. He sighed with relief as he reached some firmer ground and laid down to rest.

Unknown to him, he was right in the middle of RiverClan territory...

  • Riverbound was out fishing. He concentrated hard, stuck his paw in the icy cold water, and missed the fish he was hoping to catch. The smell of a unfamiliar scent filled his nose. I smell a cat... Not a riverclan cat though... He thought. He walked along the bushes quietly, and saw the cat lying there. He jumped out, right in front of the cat. "now who do we have here?" he asked.

  • Wishingberries had been hunting land prey since it was leaf-bare, when she realized that she could scent someone. She ran out of the bushes, and tripped over Twitch. "Aah!" she screamed as she fell face-first into a puddle of mud. Wishingberries got up, hissing, and wiping at her face. She turned to Twitch, "Who are you? And what are you doing in Riverclan territory?"

  • Twitch had been relaxing in the rays of sunlight, his aching limbs finally recovering after wading through the mud. Scents suddenly drift past his nose and a cat appeared out the bushes in front of him. He was about to jump up and gasp in shock when suddenly another cat came out the bushes and tripped over him. He tumbled over from the force and lay on his back looking completely stunned.

He groaned a little before standing up to stare at Riverbound and Wishingberries. "Um... I..." He mumbled, stammering and trembling violently from fear which caused the little metal heart tag on his collar to swing about. "I'm Twitch..."

  • Bluerose had been fishing in the river, the sun's rays warming her back. In one, swift movement, the she-cat grabbed a large trout and pulled it out of the water. She was just about to return to the camp when she saw Twitch.

Picking up her prey, the long-furred cat padded over. She eyed the intruder with kind and gentle blue eyes. "Twitch, huh? Nice name." she saw his collar. "You're a kittypet?"

  • Twitch turned to look at yet another cat that had appeared. This time it was Bluerose but the fact that now three cats surrounded him only caused the chocolate tom to become even more terrified. He stared at Bluerose and gulped. "Yes... well, no..." He stuttered and trembled even more. "I was a kittypet then I ran away again..."

  • Bluerose only sensed fear from the tom. He was trembling, and stammering -- yup, he was terrified. "Hey, why are you so jittery? Relax, we don't bite!" she mewed gently. "Or at least I don't.." he felt sorry for Twitch, despite the fact he had trespassed on RiverClan territory.

  • Twitch lowered himself to the ground and whimpered a little. "Please... I'm looking for my daughter..." He finally managed to whine, he had already searched through WindClan already and was now in RiverClan. He believed Bluerose about her not wanting to hurt him but he didn't trust the other two cats.

  • Bluerose smiled. "I can help you look. What does she look like?" she mewed, silver-blue fur shining. She at down and wrapped her fluffy tail around her paws, gazing at Twitch.

  • Twitch pawed nervously at the grass in front of him. "She looks exactly like me, she's a chocolate too. Her name is Muddypaw." He replied, calming down just a little. he had no idea where she had gone.

  • Bluerose smiled. "I've heard of Muddypaw. She's... Interesting. She might be in the apprentice den, though she's been running around lately... Disappearing then reappearing later on in the day."

  • Twitch sat up, his eyes wide with hope. Was this his Muddypaw? He just prayed that it was, then he could take her home so her mother could stop worrying so much. "Please, take me to her. I must see for myself!"

  • Riverbound took him to camp, flicking his tail in the direction of the apprentice den. "she is usually in there" he said. "if anyone asks you why you are here, tell them to come talk to me." said the Tom kindly. He had kits of his own, he couldn't imagine not being able to see them.

  • OOC: Wow, I've been gone for a long time. lol

IC: Wishingberries blinked, Muddypaw? Was she his daughter? She decided to follow Rivrebound and Twitch back to camp. She wanted to see what would happen.

  • Twitch followed Riverbound and looked at the camp but kept his head low. He stared at the apprentice den and gulped a little. "Thank you." He whispered to the other tom then peered into the den. "Hello? Muddypaw?"

  • Riverbound hoped that muddypaw was in there. Duststream walks out of the nursery. "whats a loner doing here?" she asked. "he is looking for his daughter, muddypaw. Have you seen here?" he asked. "yes, in the apprentice den." she said.

  • Twitch looked over at Duststream before focusing back on the apprentice den. He padded cautiously inside and looked around. "Hello? Muddypaw, you in here?" He meowed, his voice becoming shaky as he feared the worst.
