Soot felt his muscles aching. He bundled the herbs, feeling them droop with his tail. His paws dragged, and his scratches bled. "Here..." He murmered, flopping down and closing his eyes. He didn't even bother to curl up.

[Hai Blue! Nothing happened much. Jay helped rescue Ivypool. He dragged her into a cave to protect while a stranger, Mouse, dragged her from the waters.Feather is worried mostly about Soot and Mouse is staying in her den for the night.
Jay is about to leave camp to go for a small walk if Soot wants to join him]
Feather muttered something as she left the camp towards the twoleg nests. She was hoping to score on some catmint for the harsh leaf bare.
Jay got up, brushing his tail along Soot's flank as he left the den. He walked out of camp hoping no one noticed. He felt like he needed to be alone for a while.
[Jay met with Ivypool and she told him she liked him. Jay is now upset and lost in the forest.] -

Soot watched him pad by, and he let out a rasping breath. "Be careful.." He wheezed, knowing his friend was thinking. His heart broke and cracked, as he saw the first cat who had ever really friended him, had problems about being loved too. His sigh was quieter than a whisper. "Oh.. Jay... Why must we both face this?..."
