    Shadows surrounded he the moment Rue walked away. The swarmed around her tiny body like flies, on her back they rose like flames, slowly flickering in the light. He eyes became pure red but whe personality didn't change. She looked at her brother, waiting for his response.

    Flashes of light beamed around Lightkit's surroundings. His paws turned into a world of white, sending fireflies shoot out at Darkkit.

    So what we get drunk, so what we don't sleep, we're just having fun, & we don't care who sees. Bump

    Vines of shadows shot out from dark-kit's tail and feet. Her eyes turned deep red as the shadows mixed and fought with the light. Her own strength poured into the shadOws as the elements fought.

    Thresh looked at Waterkit and Flamekit. " Okay, I need to tell you the baisics."

    Flamekit nodded, still angered that a kit would be teaching him this stuff.


    A yellow lightpath swirled around Lightkkit's body. It was covering him with light. But he took it too far. Lightkit began to float into the air, gliding down to attack her.


    "Stop!" Rue screeched loudly.

    Dark-kit formed a dome of shadOws around her body, blocking Lightkit's attacks.

    Thresh nodded " Well, for one thing. When you use more powerful moves, you have to dedicate some energy to use it." he began.

    "STOP!" Rue snapped, using an unknown force to throw Lightkit to the side.

    Dark-kit felt the fear of death rush into her. This couldn't happen now...The force field flickered.

    Thresh took a deep breath " Second, The group we are fighting is simply refered to as ' The Darkness' Nothing else. Fear is the reason for their existence. You must never let fear take over."

    Flamekit laughed, "Like fear would ever take over me."


    Lightkit flew backwards, tumbling in the grass.


    Rue's tail lashed side to side as she watched the force field glitch. She ran forward to Darkkit.

    Dark-kit's eyes widened and she stared blankly at Rue " They will come for us, all of us. She told me so...." She gulped.

    Thresh scoffed " Alright, Mocho man, Imagine a thousand tiny demons crawling up your skin when fear pops into your mind, that's what it feels like." He grumbled.

    "That still wouldn't scare me." Flamekit snorted.


    Rue put her paws on Darkkit's shoulders. "Shh....." She murmured ever so quietly.

    Thresh glared at him, his voice rising and his tone changing. " Listen, Flmaekit. You have to except the fact that you can't beat everyone." he sighed, feeling a strong sense of regret for telling the kit about this.

    Dark-kit swatted her away with a soft Paw. " NO!" she yowled " We're all going to DIE! DOn't you guys understand! They'll win! Always win!"

    "No, you listen. I didn't ask for the power of fire, so get off my tail about it!" Flamekit snapped, his muscles bunching to prepare any approach of an attack. "I could beat everyone if I trained hard enough. And I never asked for your help."


    Rue stood silently, unsure of what to do.


    Goldenpaw was watching them from the trees. She slowly padded for, a soft gaze on Dark-kit. "Please don't yell." She pleaded quietly.

    Dakr-kit didn't look up at her " Go check on Flamekit. He...H-he is angry... And when he is angry... It...It makes me upset." tears dripped down her cheeks and onto the ground.

    Thresh growled, the apprentice-sized Mentor sighed "STop being so STUBBORN! You're not the greatest, you not the ebst at everything, just clam yourself and accept what is true!" his voice strained to stay calm.

    Flamekit's paws burned with frustration and fury. "Why don't you shut your muzzle and stop bothering me?!" He huffed before walking off, his pelt glowing.


    Goldenpaw just sat there. She had been in her own thoughts instead of the realistic world.


    OOC: Flamekit's angry?

    OOC He yelling, Upset is what she means, Lightkit and Waterkit are connected and Flamekit and Dark-kit are conneced like that too.


    Dark-kit slipped into the shadows, her cries muffled to short gasps as she covered her muzzle. The cat who had trapped her and Lightkit spoke in her mind.
    We're coming, TIny Kit. And there's nothing you can do to stop us... The voice laughed evily.

    OOC: Next question. What cat trapped Dark-kit and Lightkit? 0_o


    IC: Flamekit's pelt then began to bristle as he clawed a shard of bark from a tree. It instantly turned to flames, branches falling down. He jumped backwards as a branch almost collided into him.


    Lightkit's tail quivered once he was left alone.

    OOC NIghtmare, 'member?

    Dark-kit whined " FLAMEKIT!!" she yowled, her darkened fur seemed to make it look like the shadows where talking.

    Flamekit's ears flicked at his name being called. "It's for my siblings...." He muttered to himself. He wouldn't have come back to the others if his siblings were not there. The firey glow of the tom's pelt shone as he trudged through woodes, it appearing that there was an endless world of shadows and darkness.
