snowpaw looked around the window and saw it was open a crack. he put his paw under and pushed it up enough to squeeze his shoulders through. he pushed it up and jumped down to where oakpaw was. ''over here! i found a way out!'' he whispered as he flicked his tail to the open window.

''are you coming?'' snowpaw whispered looking uneasily at the dog.

''oh by starclan!'' he mumbled to himself. ''ive got the wrong cat!'' he said as he jumped up on the windowsill. he heard the twolegs coming and looked one last time at ''oakpaw''. he sighed and squeezed through the window.

snowpaw looked at him with sadness in his eyes. ''ok.'' he said sadly walking off with his tail dragging on the ground. ''i still loved her.'' he said not caring what deathpaw thought.
