Sparklepaw padded towards the gathering apprentice's. Rustpelt rolled his eyes, his whiskers flicking in annoyance. "She always leaves in th middle of a conversation..." Rustpelt said, getting up and streching.

Speklefrost noticed Rustpelt's emotions. "She leave you again?" She asked, snickering. "Yep, she left after I asked her how she was." He said, sitting down next to her.

Sparklepaw stopped in front of Rustclaw. "Hi..." Sparklepaw mewed quietly, her fur started to get warm. She has had a crush on Rustclaw ever since she saw him.

Dapplemoon padded out of the nursery, her silver pelt warming in the sun. "Come on out, Lilykit. You too, Sparrowkit," she meowed gently into the darkness, past the bramble barrier. She waited for a moment then smiled as a cream tabby she-kit and dark brown, marbled tom padded out, grinning. Suddenly they turned on Dapplemoon and tackled her, purring happily when Dapplemoon fell dramamtically. She stilled herself as her kits got off. They looked at her, waiting for her to get up but Dapplemoon remained still. Sparrowkit walked up stiffly, curiousity and fear in his eyes. "Mum?" he mewed meekly. He whirled back, crashing into his sister when Dapplemoon leaped up suddenly. She purred, bringing them close.
"I got you back, didnt I?" she mewed, purring. Her kits mewled, just happy that she was okay.
"Can we go see the warriors?" asked Sparrowkit, gazing at her with pleading amber eyes.
"Please, mother?" Lilykit added, her smaller frame pressing against her brother's. Dapplemoon nodded.
"Go ahead." She sat, watching them as they scampered towards Cloudstep, Icepelt, Specklefrost, Rustclaw and the others.

Icepelt licked her side rapidly up and down "hey cloudstep do you want to go hunting with me and Buzzardtail? Rustclaw do you want to come?", Buzzardtail rubbed against Icepelt happily and licked her ear.Icepelt looked down at the kits "Hello little ones" she said betendeing to be dead wise but she qickly flung a moss ball at them. She turned around back to the other warriors wating for a repliey and licked Buzzardtails side.

Rustclaw looked at sparrowkit and lilykit. they are so adorable! I wish i had kits.

Tawnykit, so small and beautiful, trotted out of the nursery. She was two moons old, and growing long, slim and beautiful. Her cinnamon calico fur shimmered in the light. Her deep blue eyes take in everything.

Hello tawneykit! rustclaw exclaimed. you look lovelyer than ever!

"My mother made sure I cleaned up well this morning. How are you?" Tawnykit trotted to the warrior.

"Too long! A few more moons, at least." Tawnykit was still smiling, though she felt distraught.

there there no need to be upset. i know what its like. but engoy your kit-hood. trust me youll miss it when its gone. rustclaw smilled at the kit. who knows? maybe when your ready ill mentor you.

"I hope so! You're so nice and kind!" Tawnykit smiled at him and purred. She rubbed against his legs.

rustclaw chuckled warmly. go ask your mother if i can show you the hunters crouch. scamper along now. rustclaw gently butted tawneykit in the flank with his head.

"I know the hunters crouch! Watch me!" Dropping down silently, Tawnykit crept towards a toad that was carelessly sitting in the open. She stopped two feet away and, testing her legs, lunged forward and landed squarely on the toad. "I'm not gonna eat him. I'll just let him go." She put it in some thick brush and watched him hop away.
