  • Darkstorm looked at Shadekit. "Your parents were weak and weak cats don't deserve to live. It's as simple as that. I should have killed you as well." He meowed.

Dovekit didn't like this one bit.

"Yeah, except you didnt. Why didnt you? I was the closest one to you, you could have killed me easier the killing a mouse! So I`ll ask again. Why did you let me live?"

  • "Didn't think you were worth my time. Besides what is worse killing you or killing the ones you care about." Darkstorm smirked. Waiting for the cats reaction.

  • Shadekit was unfazed.

"I barely knew my parents. You took them away soon enough that they meant almost nothing to me. My friends are the only ones I have ever cared about."

She glanced at Dovekit, her best-friend. "And ever will." She finished.

Then she fell unconsious again. She had still been bleeding the whole time and now it was affecting her again.

  • Darkstorm smiled again having a better idea. "Well if that's how you feel." He looked at Dovekit who froze in fear. "Stay away." She meowed stepping in front of Shadekit.

"I'm not going to kill her." He smirked, "I'll kill you." As soon as Dovekit heard those words she backed up watching the cat.

  • When Shadekit woke up for the second time, her ears were ringing.
When that stopped, all she felt was rage.

Her stupid uncle who killed her parents wanted to kill Dovekit!
No way Shadekit was going to let that happen.

She jumped at her uncle, the tiny, sharp claws she had unsheathed, and aimed at his eyes.
She landed on his face scratching at his eyes and biting any part of him she could reach.
She was still dizzy but that wasn`t going to stop her.

"LEAVE" She said between clawing at his eyes "THEM" "ALONE!!!"

  • Darkstorm not expecting Shadekit to be able to still attack him was unprepared for the attack. He hissed as she scratched his eyes. "Get off you little brat!" He hissed as he shook his head hoping to get the kit off.

  • Shadekit hung on tight, still clawing at his eyes.
No way was this crazy rouge gonna kill her friends!

  • Darkstorm was getting angrier as Finchkit scratched his stomach. These kit were more trouble then they were worth. "Fine! You win you little brats just watch your backs!" He hissed flinging Shadekit off finally. He had scratches on his eyes now, and was tired of dealing with the kits.

Dovekit had been frozen in fear still remembering the wounds she had gotten last time. The scars on her back would always be there, and she afraid of Darkstorm.

  • Silentpaw was watching from the bushes, it was done. She slowly emerged out of her hiding spot and flanked pass Darkstorm, "kit will be kits, and rogues will be rogues. You were once a kit, so you are annoyed of yourself. Remember that"

She whipped her tail lightly at Darkstorm's muzzle, like a she-cat that is teasing her mate. Silentpaw looked at Shadekit, "you still alive?" she mewed half cheerfully, half with concern.

  • Darkstorm let out a huff as he walked away. Stupid kits and apprentices.

Dovekit stood by Shadekit and looked at Silentpaw. "You think she'll be okay?" She asked with worry.

Shadekit got up, rubbing her head. "Man! I hate that guy."

  • Dovekit shook her head not seeing any resemblence between her friend and that evil rogue.

  • Silentpaw sat down and looked at Shadekit silently. She didn't belive either Shadekit was related.

  • "Let's go home." Dovekit meowed wanting to get back to the safety of the camp again.
