    Seapaw flicked his hears "never knew" he meow simply still focused on the nursery.


    Rainstar felt bad for the young tom.


    Baybreeze pushed one last time, her last kit was now here.


    Moutainpool looked at the last kit waiting for... Anything.

    There was the apprentice ceremony and mentors where assigned. Ummmm Baybreeze is haveing her kits and Coralpaw just found out about Seapaws parents.

    Coralpaw looked down. "Oh."Was all she could say.


    Snowleaf gazed at the last kit. Her breath caught in her throat as she bent down to sniff the tom. She began licking it, making its fur go the oppiste way.

    Mountainpool stared at his last son waiting.


    Baybreeze breathed a sigh of relife and looked at her kits "Only four?" she thought, hopeing Snowleaf had the last kit.


    Rainstar looked inside "i think she is done Seapaw would you like to go see her?"


    Seapaw stood up and moved into the den quickly a blast of hot air hitting him on the face on the way in.


    Rainstar looked at Coralpaw. "what about your parents Coralpaw?"

    Coralpaw shuffled her paws. "My..my mom abanded me and my littermates at kittypet homes. My father saved us after awhile but went crazy witj an illness and tried to kill us off one by one. I didnt know what he was doing until i saw him murder my little sister. I ran away then with Windpaw and Spottedpaw." Blacksky found us and took us in IvyClan where we grew into apprentices. But he...he found us. We all had to leave..."


    Snowleaf licked harder. The body felt cold beneath her tounge and she knew what had happened.

    Rainstar nodded "thank you for shareing that with me." We must make sure that we kerp an eye out for their father. He thought silently to him-self.


    Seapaw slowly walked over and looked at the kits but sayed back a little.


    Mountainpool became worried "Snowleaf, what wrong?"


    Baybreeze looked up at Mountainpool then at Snowleaf "wrong? What does that meen??"

    Mountainpool looked at his son and then Snowleaf. He cousched down and started licking the dead kit trying despratly to make the imposible happen.


    Baybreeze looked at Snowleaf in confustion "what are you sorry for?? Its not lick theres a dead kit right??" she tryed to joke but her smile fell away as she watched Mountainpool "whats wrong with him Snowleaf??"


    Seapaws tail dropped. He felt like he was falling, with no hope of landing soon. His breath caught in his throwt and just stared.


    Rainstar lisened and heard the soft squeeks of 4 kits, not knowing a fith was missing.


    Four little kits Squrmed around squeaking, not ust to the oppeness.

    snowleaf genting nosed Mountainpool back. "There's nothing you can do Mountainpool." she muttered. "Your son never got to see his life begin."

    "No!!!!" growled Mountainpool angrely "Starclan cant do this to us!! He is here and i want my son!!!"


    Baybreeze stared for a moment at her mate and dead kit, then let out a very sad low wail.

    Snowleaf sighed. "StarClan is not to pay for this. But his soul is with them. You will see him again." she meowed gently

    "no you dont understand!! I spoke with Starclan they promissed me 5 kits to help rebuild this clan!!!" Mountainpool said almost whineing.


    Baybreeze started to sob.


    Seapaw colapsed out of pure grief.


    Rainstar hung his head "Coralpaw tell every one to stay in camp, we must hold a viegl soon"

    Coralpaw nodded her head and raced to the twins. They both noded and shot off in different directions.


    Snowleaf wasn't surprised that the warrior had spoken with StarClan. It was reasonable. "Starclan had different plans for this one." she meowed.

    "but, but, but i wanted see the kits i saw in my dream, the Five kits running around me and all of us playing" he started to lick less and sat back with tears in his eyes.


    Rainstar hung his head Why did you promis him five and inly give him four starclan? he thought silently.

    "And you will Mountainpool. In your dreams will your son be there. You can't give up on your other ones. After all you wanted them." she grolwed stalking over to Seapaw. she grabbed the damp moss and squeesed the rest of the water on Seapaw

    "of corse i want them they are my kits!!!" Mountainpool stood up growling at Snowleaf his tall fame towering over her. "and i will aways love them, dont think i wont eather." he snarled his tail lashing and his eyes blazeing.


    Seapaw looked anoyed but kept stareing at his auntie. His heart felt heavy.

    Snowleaf ingored the warrior at the moment and titlted her head at the apprentice. "You alright? I think you passed out a little."
