Cory shuffled her kits towards a tree,
"Tiger, Racoon, keep up," she mewed sweetly, they were in the middle of a blizzard.
Shiver sneezed as she swayed back and forth limply in Cory's jaws.

Tiger was still small, and he wished he was old enough to open his eyes. "MEOW!" he squeaked, meaning I'm tired! in kit language.
-
"Shhhh..." Cory cooed, we are almost there. She saw a hollybush.
She pushed her kits in, there was moss growing nearby, after curling her newborn kits together,
she made the tiny nest, to make in warm through the night.
She one, by one, placed each of her kits in the nest. Then after making sure they were asleep, and well pretected, she went out, and caught a mouse, she devouered it, then came back to them,
they were still asleep. She curled around them. She snuggled them closer to her stomach, she would have more milk now. She purred. -
Tiger was scared. He cuddled hos momma.
-
Cory licked her kits.
-
Shiver kit was confused. So much moving... So many smells. Her eyes blurred with tears from the biting wind, and her fur was fluffed out against the cold. Even through her mothers fur, it seemed as if she was wearing a jacket of ice. Shiverkit made a soft moaning sound, comforted only by the warm rasp of her mothers tongue on her gray fur. She suckled from her mother, drinking in the warm milk that filled her stomach. After finishing, she felt drowsy. She curled up and slept a dreamless sleep.
-
Darkthorn was out hunting when he smelled them. He hissed.
-
Shiver kit heard the low hiss and was startled. Her green eyes popped open but she saw no one. Wobbling to her tiny feet, she wove around the bushes and came face to face with Darkmoon. Letting out a shriek of surprise, she ran as fast as her kit legs took her to her mother, where she dove into the warm and safe nook.
-
"shiver! Stay!" Cory mewed not knowing the presence of the other cat.
-
Racoonkit mewed quietly, nuzzling closer to Cory.
-
Cory nuzzeled Racoon.
-
Tiger was hungry. If he didn't get to a real clan soon, he would die.
-
Amberbreeze followed Darkthorn through the blizzard, her golden pelt freezing but her eyes were warm pools of amber. She always knew Darkthorn was bad but when he started to go out at night it puzzled her. What is he doing out at night every evening?!? But now she was going to find out. She could just about smell the scent of warm milk and kits. Awww! But what are they doing out here in this horrible weather? She padded closer and saw Darkthorn approach an un-susppecting, innocent family. "No!" She cried and pounced on him, aiming to knock him off his paws.
-
Racoonkit mewed to the noise of someone approaching.
-
Amberbreeze leapt off of her clanmate and rushed to the little family. "Go!" She yowled and started nudging them along. She swiftly bent down and took Racconkit and Tigerkit and rushed away from the clan territory, putting as much distance between them and Darkthorn as she could.
-
Racoonkit cried as she took him from the bush.
-
Amberbreeze sighed and started licking Raccoonkit. "It's okay little one." She purred through a mouthful of fur. "I'm just keeping you safe." When she thought Darkthorn wasn't on their tail she slowed to a stop and put the two kits down. "Now we're just waiting for your mother." She explained and put them in a comfier bush than the last one and lay down beside them and curled her tail round them protectively. She then bent down and started to lick them.
-
Racoonkit cried for his mother loudly before getting quite.
-
Amberbreeze purred, "it's okay. Your mother will come soon." He reassured the little Tom.
-
He sniffled and fell asleep, growing weary around the warm cat.
