    The fox crashed into Ashpelt's claws, yowling a bark of surprise. He turned back to Ashpelt for revenge and aimed to bite the warrior's leg.

    Ashpelt was slow to react and yowled in pain as she felt teeth meet her fur.

    Greypaw screached,"Noo!" And bit the fox on the shoulder, tearing it off of Ashpelt.

    The fox turned on Greypaw, and aimed to snap at his tail. Ravenstar rushed over to her clanmates.

    Ashpelt fell to the ground and laid there. She looked at her wound and saw it cut to the bones of her leg. "Stupid mange pelted flea bitten...." she grumbled along with some other choice words.


    OOC: Thank yous. ^_^

    Greypaw jumped onto the fox's back and bit at its neck, trying to find the spine. Finally he found it and broke the fox's spine. Killing it.

    OOC: Tabbystar, remember that the fox IS a character of mine, I don't want it killed. Besides, an apprentice isn't really enough to kill a fox. I was going to make the fox run off after a fight.
    IC: The fox shook the apprentice off like a fly. He suddenly felt the claws of Ravenstar and Ashpelt on his flanks.

    Oh, oops sorry.


    IC: For the second time, the apprentice got a mouthful of dirt and grit.

    The fox grabbed Ravenstar's paw in his mouth. "Ashpelt! Greypaw! Help!" she yowled.


    OOC: it's okay Tabbystar, I just didn't want a staff member to find out and warn/suspend you.

    Greypaw bit down hard on the fox's leg in return. Greypaw felt a flush of triumph when the fox's blood entered his mouth.

    The fox yowled and quickly started running away. Ravenstar quickly mewed to Greypaw, "Greypaw. Go get Rainfeather or Jasminepaw!"

    Greypaw ran back to the camp even though he ached all over. When he got back to camp he found Rainfeather and said,"Hurry, come quickly! A fox hurt all of us! You need to save the cat's life!"

    Rainfeather looked down at the grey apprentice. "I'm coming! Let me grab some supplies." She rushed off into her den and grabbed some comfrey, cobwebs, and poppy seeds. She quickly padded back out of her den and called for the medicine cat apprentice. "Jasminepaw! Ravenstar and Ashpelt have been wounded by a fox! Come help!" She followed Greypaw to where the two cats were lying on the ground.

    Ashpelt gave another groan and rested her head on the ground. Her breathing was shallow.
