The usually small tortoiseshell laid on her side, her stomach ballooning out to the side, carrying several kittens inside. Fallenleaf felt a familiar pain and movement in her side and she picked her head off the ground quickly, her green eyes wide. She licked her stomach carefully, knowing she was kitting.

Fallenleaf's flank rippled and she knew she would have to do this by herself. Her flank rippled and a red and white tom slid out. She quickly licked the small fur bundle murmuring softly, "Serpentkit."

The first born kit wigled at his mothers touch. Serpentkit squeaked,.

Fallenleaf managed a quick purr before her flank rippled again and a smiliar looking tom kitten slid out. The only difference was the location of the white scattered across them. "Drummerkit," she gasped, licking his fur.

Serpentkit wiggled next to his brother.

Fallenleaf let out a whimper, glancing towards the entrance before another kitten slid out. It was a tortoiseshell, the first she-kitten and Fallenleaf licked the small kitten mewing, "Glamourkit."

Serpentkit squeaked once more, feeling that his sister had joined him.

Another tortoiseshell she-cat slid out before Fallenleaf even had time to prepare. She licked the she-kitten gently, mumbling, "Angelickit."
Glamourkit let out a soft mewl. -
The red adn white tom-kti wiggled everywhere, kicking his siblings.

Everkit was anxious to be born.

Glamourkit let out a cry and began to wail.
Fallenleaf wanted to calm her kittens but her flank rippled again. A female calico she-cat slid out. "Everkit." -

Serpentkit squealed.

Everkit sucked in her first breath of air. It felt good. Soon she became hungry and filled herself with milk.
