  • A small figure about the size of a child darted between the trees, it's long blonde hair black in the dark. The child wore furs of all shades of black and brown, and small strips of worn leather securing a knife to her belt. She knelt next to the river and her tiny hands cupped water into them so she could drink and still watch for danger.

  • Another girl, about seventeen, watched from the shadows. She was dressed lightly, so she did NOT limit her mobility. She brushed her hair out of her eyes and wondered, What's a little girl doing out here by herself?

  • OOC: @ BlossomFlare: yes, you can join

IC: The girl stood and turned towards some rocks. She pushed past some thick brush and in between the rocks, her bare feet padded lightly against the cool rock as she made her way to a corner and curled up among a few rabbit furs and leaves, staring at the cave entrance.

  • The sun appears. the clouds drift apart. Shastay flipped over a tree branch and landed flat in her booted feet. She had a strange feeling she was being watched...

  • BTW my charrie that I have above is named Kay.

Kay leaped with grace and ease through the underbrush, as silent as a deer.

  • Shastay landed perfectly. Her beautiful dark eyes darted to the other girls. What's going on! she pelted after them the mirror pattern on the hem of her short dress catching the sunlight.

  • Kay heard the sounds of footsteps and turned around. Seeing Shastay she stopped moving and fell into the shadows, unwilling to talk to anyone.

  • Kay climbed up the tree and looked down. "But I do, so I think you should leave." She hissed.

  • The young girl crept towards the entrance of her home and listened to the voices, her eyes having a wild look in them. She waited for the voices to move away, but they wouldn't, so she bolted from the cave and slowed down only to teeter on a slick log as she crossed the river.

  • Kay herad the little girl and whipped around. "Thanks for nothing, girl." She spat as she ran through the trees after the little girl.

  • "No Problem." Shastay sighed to herself. She allowed herself a quiet dark laugh. "How could she bit me! I'd be far to quick for her!" Shastay stalked on through the woods. The sun went behing a cloud just as she did so.

OOC Her talent isn't to control the sun lol. It just happens like that. It always happens, but it's not a power.

  • The girl quietly ran through the trees, her hair streaming behind her. She splashed through a small stream, making her feet slippery with the cold water. She ran over a rotting log and stumbled briefly as her feet slipped.

  • Shastay dashed forword, almost floating. Her dark eyes filled with a desire to find out what was going on!

  • Kay kept dashing ahead after the little girl, ignoring the biting branches. Soon the girl was just ahead of her, so close she could just reach out with her hand and...

  • Again, Kay ignored her, still reaching as she drew even closer, almost on top of her.
