  • "Great!" Soot meowed happily. "I could make your bed ... Or did you want to do it?" Soot preprahed himself just incase he was scrathed again.

  • Soot nodded. "Ok." He got down from the rock he was laying on and into the cave. "There's a freshpile of moss and feathers over at the back," he meowed to Sun. "I'll be back in a minute. I'm just gonna grab a vole or two and a mouse. Maybe a little more." If it wasn't for her harsh nature, Soot would have licked her reasuringly on the top of the head but he figured that unless he wanted a torn ear, he wouldn't.

  • "okay, bye then."she said ushering him. Sun padded to the pile and made a nest, she set the feathers on the moss when she was finished making it.

  • Soot's hunt was succsesful, catching a dove, two mice and a vole. He padded back to his cave and saw that Sun had finished making her bad. "That looks soft," he meowed when he had put his prey down.

  • "Be free to eat anything," Soot meowed, looking outside. "I need to do scent markings now." He padded out again and went around the outside of his territory. It was small, around the cave and a few trees and bushes but it would do. After scenting all the way around, Soot returned to the cave.

  • When he got back, sun was hungurliy digging into a delicous squrril, she hadn't eaten something that good for a long time.

  • Soot purred as he saw Sun eating the squirrel. "Looks like you must've been hungry!" Soot meowed
amusingly. "The prey's lovely and plump round here. Be free to eat anything thats on the pile."

  • She nodded her thanks, and when she was done, slowly
took a second squrrill. "thanks."she said in a cheerfull
    tone.

  • Soot stepped back a bit. He had never heard Sun's voice in a happy tone before! I quickly shook his head when she weren't looking before meowing, "If you need anything, tell me," before he went outside and layed on the rock, sunbathing himself.

  • Soot closed his eyes and thought. But what about? He opened his eyes again to find that he was in a sparkaling place filled with cats that he had loved: His old late mother, Robinsong: The she-cat he had loved, Heartstar: His two sisters, Moonheart and Owlwing: They were all there! He had visited this place before but with only Heartstar. "What's the matter?" he asked the cats around him. Heartstar shook her beautiful head before walking towards him. "Forget us, in your head," she meowed, touching his nose with hers. "Just keep us in your hearts. Love someone else now." "But who?" Soot meowed like a little kit. But the cats just whisped away, and he found himself panting on the rock again.

  • Sun licked a paw and drew it over her face, her find dizzy with thoughts of soot. why is he SO important to me!? he looks just like any other tom!but i guess that his looks don't really matter... she thought.

  • Soot felt a raindrop fall onto his grey and black pelt. He looked up and saw some dark grey clouds coming over him, rain falling from them. He rushed inside next to the Freshkill pile and pulled out a water vole. He crunched on it hungrily as he tore through its flesh. ( ^-^)

  • She giggeled. "you must be hungry." she said, a puddle forming slowly at the entrance to the strong den that the kind tom had built. D-Did i- LAUGH!? she thought.

  • Soot smiled. "It's better to have a got atmosphere then a bad one," Soot meowed. Espcially if you've got a she-cat with a bad temprament he thought.
