He pawed the ground restlessly hoping all of them will come. "Please just come I have an idea I also don't want this herd split apart its to dangerous in the winter" He went on as though all where really there. "You can't go away till spring unless you find more stallions to protect you and still do they has as good protected place as this?" He looked about no one was there. He sighed and lay down were he was regretting his decision to make lead mare and trying to get a life in the first place.

Rose stepped toward him and looked at him sorry for what she did,"I'm sorry," she nighed softly.

He groaned not a goodly sound "I don't want to hurt you no more" He nickered miserably "Any other stallions would be better for you mares than me, I guess you guys should probably go find another leader". "and I guess I'm to young" he added after a moment "I'll wait till I'm five."

"What a drama queen." Foxtrot snorted, trotting over to him. "If your going to start a herd it might as well be now." For a moment there was sympathy in her eyes but it was gone in a flash as she looked towards the other mares. "And you two." The mare tossed her head. "I don't think either of you are 'lead mares'."

He got up quickly " So your the new mare I smelled" he neighed "You don't mind an inexperienced leader?" He turned to Rose "Do you know the way home" He asked with a worried expression "It going to snow soon I smell it"

"No, I lost all sense of direction in a storm." She whinnied.

"ooh I...Well...um...I cant take you back if you don't know where your going" He broke off, then started again "Meaning I don't know where it is either"

"I'm sorry" He said and walked toward his home solumbly He turned his head "I don't blame you if you want to go home but I ask you don't endanger yourself" "PLEASE" Then he went more on his way to his secret meadow.

"Your not an awful leader, we're awful mares." She neighed softly then added, "I need you remember?" She neighed jokefully.

"You can stay if you like but no ones in charge right now you can but I'm not"
