Wolf who howls at moon peered at the camp of the once great tribe. 'this is worse than I thought' he thought to himself, his sister; Moss who clings to cave, had died in the battle defending her tribe. He stifled tears just thinking of her, he had seen the whole horrific scene. He kept low under the bracken, waiting for more tribe-cats who had escaped...
We are tribe of rushing water, and n(o)one can change that.

Sky that Holds Great Stars limped quickly out of the cave's entrance, her sides heaving and stormy gray eyes blood-shot. She huffed, glancing around wildly, looking for her younger brother, Whisper that Lingers at Night, "Whisper!? Whisper where are you!!?" Her wail came out in soft sobs as she made her way outside.
-
Wolf spotted the she-cat and immediatly ran to her side. "hush, hush. Are you okay?" He said as he led to the bracken.
-
Night Of Rising Moon watched the two cats. Her deep green eyes narrowed but she trotted toward them quickly. Her right eye was scarred badly and her light colored fur was soaked in blood. She recognized her Clanmates and bounded over quicker.
-
Wolf recognized Night immediatley. "How did you escape? I'd thought you had been murdered by on of those skulls!" He whispered in concern. He looked at sky. "Can you get some cobwebs, she's bleeding badly." He whispered, looking at her.
-
The she-cat blinked and nodded, taking off into the bracken to fetch what her friend had requested.
-
"Oh it's just the Skulls blood and i scratched myself. It's nothing I promise." She purred to Wolf. She sat down gently her green eyes blazed with emotion. "We have to regain our territory." She hissed.
-
"Oh, I'm sorry, I asked Night to. Your hurt badly and we need you to rest." He said looking at Sky. He switched his eyes to Night."Your right but how? Your both hurt badly and three cats have no chance against the Skull." He said, wondering if any more cats had escaped.
-
Night didn't want Wolf or Sky to know how bad she was hurt. She started to try and lick her matted fur but it was really hard because of the tangles and blood.
-
"Are you sure your okay?" he asked with concern.
-
Sky sighed and sat, not even daring herself to look at her wound, "I need to find Whisper. I'm not going to sit here and do nothing. He's in there and I know it." Her mew was firm, though she knew there was no way that her younger brother could have escaped.
-
"We'll find him, I promise" He hoped desperatly they would.
-
The smokey gray she-cat sighed, glancing down at her paws, "I hope he's alright..." Though her mind clouded with uncertain doubt. No matter how hard she tried not to, only the worst of possibilities for the young tom came up.
-
Wolf looked at her with concern. He wondered if the tribe would ever be saved.
-
Her ears pricked, scenting a fresh, familiar scent. She glanced around nervously, "Wolf.. Night... I think Whisper escaped..." She began breathing a bit heavily as a strong blood scent was mixed in with his. Oh my... Seeing a small figure dragging its hind legs out of the cave's entrance, Sky bolted over, covering it's head in repetitive licks.
The light gray tom cringed, "S-Sky... Gentle.." She sighed, "Sorry... A-Are you alright? Were there any more survivors!?" Her mew was panic stricken. Whisper shook his head, "I-I... I don't know.."
-
wolf saw the young tom. "Sky? Is this whisper?" He asked, curiosity overwhelming him.
-
Night watched Whisper emerge from the cave. Very faintly she could see a tiny light fawn colored she-kit. "Fawn That Leaps At Dawn!" She yowled and bounded toward her kit. Beside her Mist That Swirls At Falls and Bird That Chirps Quickly mewled.
-
Wolf's face lit up. "Are these your kits?" he asked.
-
Sky nodded to Wolf's question and gently nudged her brother towards him, "His back legs are crushed." The tom noded wearily and collapsed, groaning weakly. Sky sighed and turned to Night, "Oh thank goodness. Are they alright? I know a few remedies if they aren't."
-
Wolf nodded. "we should find a base camp, somewhere to retreat if this whole thing doesn't work out.'' he said, looking at a nearby abandoned fox den.
