    Ravenfern shrugged, "I don't care." Usually, she'd go to the east to hunt, but this revealed that she had changed over the quarter-moon she was gone.

    Fawndre padded into camp with Fencerunner by her side. They trotted over to Emeraldstar and introduced themselves. Fawndre mewed, "Is there anything we can do right now?"
    Fencerunner nodded his agreement. "We should do something to help," he mewed cheerfully but exhaustedly.

    Ravenfern froze, smelling an odd scent. It wasn't something she remembered, "... what's that smell...? It's disgusting!" She froze, her heart pounding, as she remembered it. The smelly black stuff the monster had left. Her fur bristled.

    "Well you could go hunt." Emeraldstar suggested.

    She scented somtething else, the same scent when she was hit. "It's... ," she muttered, her eyes wide. "The one... my legs... it's..." She shook her head, "l-let's just hurry."

    It was like it was happening all over again: the large, blue monster coming straight at her, but her being suspended in fear and unable to move. Her hind legs being crushed by the round paws. The red blood surrounding her legs. The twoleg that saw her and took care of her, making her new hind legs. Having the pain of them being put on, and walking again. All those memories clouded her mind, suspending her in place. No matter how hard she tried, Ravenfern couldn't bring herself to move.

    Phoenix looked at Raven, and then to the road, then back at Raven. In the fastest yet swiftest move ever, Phoenix Kicked Raven to the road where she was safe, leaving phoenix crushed.......under the monster.
