"Merely through a mutual friend--though, to the Faceless, she is much more; isn't that correct," she said. The Faceless groaned, "this is your fault, Gravitykit." She hissed a reply, "what!? No way--she's psychic! She clearly read one of our minds." Psypaw giggled, "oh no; it was obvious. You are both... terrible, terrible liars. A trait passed down, perhaps?" She smiled at Tawnyrose, then frowned, "hang on... you've figured it out... right?"

Psypaw groaned, "yessss. Anyways, what are you all doing here? Wait, never mind; I just remembered what this was. So, Tawnyrose, have you seen something yet?"

"Just do it already, we don't have much time; UnderClan is going to return sometime today, so we have to be cautious, too." Honestly, Psypaw wanted to the the pool herself, but was far too afraid of what she'd see.

Psypaw hissed, "get her away from the water's surface! This is bad--so bad!" Faceless and Gravitykit only stared at her, not taking note of how frantic the situation was; or at least, how serious it was to her. The two also failed to take not of the glow in her eyes, until it became too bright to ignore. She found herself losing control of her power, and knowing she was about to swap bodies with Tawnyrose, aimed herself at Gravitykit instead. She then fainted, and Faceless looked at her with a frantic look, "what did you do??" Psypaw shuddered, "this... isn't right. Why am I--OH MY GOSH, A BODY SWITCH! Psypaw is SO gonna get it when we're back in the right bodies!!" Faceless huffed, looking at Tawnyrose; she didn't seem to be too bad, maybe a bit shocked, but not in danger or anything, right?

Angelpaw tensed up as the shadow bolted out at her, she responded by flying high into the air and, blazing with powerful light, she dive-bombed it with everything she had. The shadow yowled with anger, surprise and pain and lashed out at the she-cat. Pretty soon it was a mass of light and dark hissing and clawing at each other again.

Desire watched Anglepaw and her shadow intently as they fought, ready to step in if the battle started to go in the shadow's favor at all. Digging his claws into Anglepaw's dream ground, the dark red tabby wondered if Twanyrose was okay. Melody could take care of herself, she always had, but Twanyrose was still frail from her recent bout of depression. "Stay safe, Twanyrose. I can't lose you. We still have a game to finish."he thought to himself with a bittersweet smile, knowing that she couldn't hear his unless she was sleeping as well.

Melody had been shifting from guarding the hidden entrance to the apprentice den, to checking on Momo's position and doing a quick patrol around the camp to make sure she hadn't left as everything went on. If the traitorous thunder cat left camp then she would be quick to follow, despite what Hawk had told her to do.

Dewdust was resting her kit plump stomach outside the medicine cat den as she watched the entrance of the apprentice den, ready to spring into action if anyone needed her. It was hard to be so active, especially with her kits so close to coming, but after losing her mate to a disease she had become extremely devoted to her duties as a medicine cat and making preparations for her kits. She had been working so hard and stretching herself so thin these past moons that she wouldn't have survived without her apprentice Skypaw, a young human kit, there to help her.

The brilliant light added with Anglepaw's will filled request startled Desire so much that he lost his hold of her dreams. White-hot, searing pain rippled through him as he was forcibly expelled from the apprentice's mind right along with her shadow and he soon felt the he heaviness of reality settle over him like a scratchy but comfortable blanket. The dark red tabby slowly opened his eyes only to find himself curled up on the ground in the apprentice den next to Anglepaw. "Well that was eventful."he muttered to the others as he sat up.

The only reason Melody spotted Momo on the go from her post was because she had been expecting her to leave at some point. Lips curled back in a silent snarl, the petite black she-cat followed the thunder cat, moving as quickly and quietly as a shadow. Thankfully there wasn't a breeze to carry her scent to Momo as she followed or boy would she be in trouble. She tagged the she-cat as close behind as she dared, unwilling to lose the traitor. She had to find out what part Momo played in this and exactly what they're plan was.

Desire just looked at the apprentice for a moment before he let out a full hearted laugh. "You wouldn't say?"he replied between laughs as he turned towards Gemflower and Hawk, eyes growing just a bit more serious. "If this ever happens again then I know what I need to do to help. Anglepaw can explain what happened, but you should probably take her to see Dewdust and have her wounds treated. I'm going to go find Twanyrose, Rainbowpaw, and Venus,"he explained to the older cats, becoming more serious and detriment with every word. Without even waiting to hear what they had to say, the unicat rushed out of the den and started to follow Twanyrose's scent.
