    Lightstream frowned at her friends' conversation. They seemed to have little hope left.... and here I am leading them into something...... But if we don't get this over with this prophecy will never progress. Checking up at the sky once more she saw the sun arcing downwards in a slow decent towards the horizon. They were making perfect time... Soon it would be close to sun set and the shadows would be at their largest.

    is Lightstream evil? Maybe, we all know what happens when I'm bored! What could be happening at Twisted Tree? Why is Lightstream feeling guilty about leading everyone there? idk, find out.

    ooc: sorry for not being on until late, I wasn't feeling 100%.... or 75% really..... maybe 50% or 60%


    ic: Leading the group into the clearing, Lightstream took a second to marvel at the scene. The setting sun cast an orange glow in the leafless Twisted Tree. A lone squirrel took notice o the cats and ran towards Frostclan territory. Wind blew in from the east along with strong scents of the river. Mouse dung! Lightstream cursed silently. Although the smell was comforting it was very bad.


    Lightstream separated herself from the group, matching parts from reality to that of the one in her vision. The smell and breeze were all right and the time seemed almost perfectly in sync but there was one last piece of the puzzle to find in order for this not be a waste of time. Scoring the clearing with her silver eyes she quickly spotted a piece of prey, lying dead on its side without a scratch on it. That's it!

    A shadowy figure began to appear on a high branch of Twisted Tree, much higher than the leaders dared to venture for safety reasons. Yellow eyes glared from the swirling darkness and a Cheshire smile proved prominent on his face. A white spot on his grey and black tabby flank almost glowed in contrast.
    "Its about time you took our hints sweetie."

    IC: Lightstream stiffened at the voice she'd come to be so familiar with as of late. She trembled with anger as he laughed aloud from his perch on the tree, in full view of the five cats, mocking them.

    "Did she not tell you?" Venom poured from Stoneshade's fangs and he went into another round of laughter. "Ooops, forgot, we poisoned your little Seer of light so she couldn't talk. Wouldn't be very fair if she could just tell you everything now would it? Lightstream brought you here for us!" Stoneshade yowled in triumph.


    Lethal figures swirled into existence from various shadows cast by trees and branches. Each just a jumble of circulating darkness in the form of a cat. Even with Stoneshade's knack for leadership and cunning he could not teach his dark forest follows how to fully manifest like he did. This was the best even he could do.


    Whispers rang out in the clearing from the shadow warriors, laughing and cackling in an ugly way that tore at Lightstream's ears. Leave it to Stoneshade to make a big entrance. One of the figures nudged her harshly and she swiped at fiercely. She turned to her "friends" with a blank expression, searching their faces for emotion.

    Lightstream flinched at the hurt in Autumnleaf's voice. Lightstream had betrayed her friends and led them to her father and his ambush.... but she had her reasons. She was the Seer of Light, everything she did had a reason now... even if those reasons seemed insignifigant compared to what she had to do.


    Stoneshade laughed again. "Was it really that hard to believe? You are the Knight of Heart, you feel others emotions. You must not be doing your job right if you couldn't sense this happening." He sneered and hopped down a few branches. The shadows cackled, echoing their leader.


    Lightstream glared up at her father, there was no need to bring the others into this She followed the Shadow's vision given to her, to bring the other three here for the battle, she had lost her friends trust for this cause. He needn't shove it in her face. Stoneshade seemed to take pleasure in his daughter's hatred. Not like it mattered, he hated her just the same.

    "Well how does it feel to have your own anguish for once. Nice change I bet, but don't blame the Seer, she was merely a pawn. A good daughter for once, listening to daddy's plans. Although it's useless to fight it'd just be boring if you gave up so I'm glad you have some spunk Knight." Stoneshade taunted, bouncing down another branch he was about two fox lengths of ground now.


    Lightstream watched the sun, still sitting on the horizon. It's not time yet... She thought. When the right moment comes... I'll rid the forest of them for good!

    Ooc: yeah, an army is a little much for 3(?) cats to Handel. Speed can join the action. Since he's fast and bored and the stupid shadows ae laughing like idiots it makes sense. Just rp it in a believable manner. Make me BELIEVE Speedstrike just happened to mistake his way into this battle.


    Ic: Lightstream backed away from Twigstorm. Y-You don't understand Twigstorm, I-I'm doing this for moth- er, Heatherstar! Lightstream sent her thoughts to the deputy. The Seer could hardly hide the fact that Twigstorm's, the Witch of Mind's, hatred sent chills down her spine.

    A few Shadows yowled in a mocking way in response to the Knight of Heart's words.
    "Die fighting! Die fighting!" They chanted in high, screeching voices. Stoneshade's laugh was deeper and more sane. He landed on the ground with a final leap from a branch, smaller shadows from the tree swirled from their natural places and softened the impact.(these aren't the warrior shadows. Just regular shadows made by the tree).


    "Autumnleaf, the Critical Moment is almost here. My revenge on this wretched clan is almost here. Let it begin!" Stoneshade's voice boomed out louder than anyone in the clearing expected. A few birds stupid enough to stay and ignore the ombinous, dangerous aura given off by the darkforest cats fluttered in response. The sun had almost disappeared behind the horizon, the shadows of the darkforest were as long as they could be, they were at their strongest.
    The Shadows rallied at their leaders call and sprang into action and ran towards the prophecy cats.
