    Rabbitcloud padded out of the nursery. "My kits are finally asleep," she meowed. "They never rest!"

    Ashkit was practicing his hunting stalk on an unsuspecting beetle. He wondered when he would be apprenticed? Only a few more moons, he thought.

    Oceanheart awoke with a start. Her muzzle wounds were hurting more. This is what you get for not seeing the medicine cat, she thought. It feels like its infected. Great. She tried to get up and walk to the medicine den, but her paw hurt too much to put weight on it. "Oh great," she murmered. "Can someone help me?" she said louder.

    Rabbitcloud awoke, sensing her adopted kit's presence. "Pebblekit..."

    "Be a good kit," Rabbitcloud purred, her breath coming in ragged gasps. "I,ll be waiting for you in StarClan."

    "StarClan knows it is my time. Please take care of your siblings. I love you Pebble it."

    Pebblekit started sobbing as her mother went limp. "SOMBODY HELP"!!!!!!! she shook rabbitclouds shoulder. "Wake up!" she cried out again

    Rabbitcloud slowly began to see light. I'm in StarClan, she thought. "Hello, Rabbutcloud." Blue star mewed, her shape a mere outline. "you know her destiny, don't you?" She asked. "I know the s only the beginning," Rabbitcloud replied. "You will still see Pebblekut. You will be the cat to keep her in her correct path." "I will," she said, nd her world went cold as she padded away into the forest with Blue star.

    Pebblekit continued to cry , her eyes stained with tears. Her voice was weak as she continued to cry out without a reply.

    That night,Rabbitcloud prepare to meet Pebblekit in her dteams. Suddenly, she felt a share pain, and heard Pebblekits cries. I'm in the camp...I'm alive!"Pebble it?"
