    "You'll care about having her friendship once she becomes leader," Cloverleaf replied flatly as she got to her paws and padded away from Pebblekit and towards camp.
    Whitetail gave Halfclaw one last glare before she spun around and stomped after her daughter.

    "Puh. That'll be the day." Halfclaw spat. "Who cares if she's leader? Lousy leader she'd make. In fact, I can't say I'd discourage naughty apprentices from trying to put ants in her nest." She gazed into the woods with a satisfied look on her face. Speckledpath sighed and shook her head.
    "We're clanmates." She said softly. "We should support each other." She licked Pebblekit's head nonchalantly.
    "That cat can't make me angry." She mewed cheerfully.



    Stripeheart looked down at Pebblekit. "What's wrong?"

    "Ouch," Rabbitcloud meowed, a scratch in her shoulder sending a shiver of pain through her.

    Speckledpath settled down beside Rabbitcloud, smiling at Pebblekit.



    Ashkit came racing over, eyes wide. "Pebblekit!" He meowed. "I'm sorry! I accidentally knocked Dappleflame's herbs over - she made me stay and pick them all u-" He stopped, noticing she was sleeping.

    Oceanheart opened her eyes. It was night, and she was lying under a canopy of trees in the forest. Her muzzle hurt terribly where the fox had scratched her. And her neck was still bleeding where it had bitten her and shaked her until the point where she was nearly dead. And that had been the moment when brave Rabbitcloud had saved her. But where was Rabbitcloud? In fact, where was everyone? Oceanheart tried to sit up, but fell back down when a searing pain went through her back left paw. She moaned, and tried to stand again, but failed to. Where was everyone? She went through the process of elimination in her head until she came up with three possibilities. Either Rabbitcloud was rescued but Oceanheart was forgotten, Rabbitcloud was dead (which she refused to believe) or no one cared to find her (this was the one she suspected, no one really cared about her except Rabbitcloud.) After a while, she decided it didn't matter. Either way she was lost half dead in the woods, and by the next day would either be dead from bleeding, starvation, or dangerous animals. She managed to get out one last wish before she fell unconscious. Oh StarClan, help me!

    "Ocea heart opened her eyes to see Pebblekit's face staring down at her. "Pebblekit," she whispered. "Please, go get help. Quickly!"

    Pebblekits mouth opened in a soundless wail and a large tom came to her side. "Yes little sister."? the tom asked. "Can you help my freind to our camp"? The tom smiled "Certainly". He gently grabbed oceanhearts scruff and brought her back to camp. the tom left after dropping the two off. Pebblekit called after him. "Bye Night"!

    Ashkit brought a little mouse to Pebblekit.
    "Look!" He meowed. "I brought you some food."
