He smelled the air. The scents of the forests nice, but not as nice as sparrowwing's.

"Which way do you want to go?" Sparrowwing asked.
-
"I don't care." he said.
-
"Let's head towards Twolegplace first," Sparrowwing decided, starting to pad towards it.
-
"Ok" he said padding after her.
-
Ivyfeather yawned. She felt too tired after the night before to go on patrol. So she curled up in her nest again and fell asleep.
-
He was glad to be here, where that annoying cat Silverwind wouldn't act all love suck around him.
-
Sparrowwing stopped on the edge of Tallpines. "We are in Tallpines right now," she said "And those fences over there are where Twolegplace starts." She pointed with her tail in front of her.
-
"It seems familiar." he said.
-
Sparrowwing gave him a questioning look, but she shook her head and headed towards the gorge.
-
He heard rumbling water. "Is that a waterfall?" he asked.
-
"Yep," Sparrowwing replied "The gorge is up ahead. It runs through WindClan and into RiverClan. If you look through the trees, you can see the river, and RiverClan lives on the other side."
-
"I know the borders." he said.
-
"Yeah right," Sparrowwing replied "Then let's head towards the Owl Tree."
-
"Ok what is an owl?" he asked.
-
Sparrowwing looked at him in shock. "You-you don't know what an owl is?" she stammered "You know. The big birds that hunt at night?"
-
"No I live in the mountains, and we only have hawks, eagles, and falcons.
-
"They aren't as big as an eagle, but they are pretty big. They hunt at night using their big eyes to see, and they can turn their heads almost all the way around!" Sparrowwing described an owl for him.
-
His eyes widened. "Wow!" he said.
-
"This tree, the Owl Tree," Sparrowwing continued, pointing to the large tree "Is where an owl lives. We follow it sometimes because he will lead us to prey."
