Amber sniffed the air and caught the scent of a cat and she walked towards it she was a light brown pelt with icy blue eyes, when she got close she jumped into a tree and went closer and she saw a tom she lost her footing when she saw him and she fell out of the tree near him. "Ow, that was not supposed to happen."she said and looked over st him

'are you ok!?' karn says as he rush's to help the beautyfull she-cat

"Yea I'm ok I've been in worse conditions. I'm Amber whats your name?"she said and got up and winced when she tried to sit up straight

'umm... i am Karn umm... what are you doing out here in the cold...?'

"Karn that's a nice name for a nice tom"she said, "I was out looking for some prey when I caught your scent and then I climbed into the tree and that's when I lost my footing, normally I have great footing in and out if winter but I guess you were so---"she stopped herself not wanting to finish and hoping she didn't sound like a mouse-brain

'so?' ventured karn

"So handsome"she said under her breathe

'..... and your the most beauty........ beautyfull cat i have ever seen......'
looked at Amber for a few seconds
'i ...... i am sorry' said karn feeling a mixture of happyness and guilt

'I..I shouldent have said that should I.......' karn looked at Amber as in saying sorry

"What saying that I'm beautiful? Why do you think I'm going to get mad? I'm not mad its just t-t-that I like you"she said with a warm smile

'I like you too...' said karn, now approaching Amber slowly

'so shall we go find somewere to shelter?' 'I have a feeling its going to rain....'

"Yea we should"she said and got up. "There's a den not far from here, lets go"she said and lead him to the den

'is this your den?' asked karn

"No not really it was my older sisters but she died saving my life"she said her eyes filled with sorrow remembering her sister and how she said that she would do anything to keep her alive even to give her life just to save hers
