  • "Wow sorry, its when you flare up or bend down, your wounds swell. Its makes you look quite scary to be honest." Sandfire dint want to start a fight after this, i just wanted to eat sleep and deal with it tommorow." Do you know any herbs to help those wounds of yours, I dont want to be pushy be you could, for the best, wash them." Then Sandfire stop and scented the air, he spotted a vole but was waiting for Haki's answer before he would move.

  • The bicolor blinked. He supposed he didn't really know how he looked; whether it was clean or a complete mess. He could see his injures might be subject to some disfigurment... "No I don't, or don't you think I would have done something already." Haki replied in that odd tone of his, neither interested or disinterested. Herbs... what did he know of those? He was healing up quite fine, in his own mind. Maybe it was better for some cats. He wouldn't have known.

  • "Okay, then lets get on to hunting if your fine." Sandfire replied, trying to match Haki's tone.
He pounced up on that vole he scented.

  • The bicolor nodded and bounded towards a mouse, tracking it before he leapt sucessfuly to end the thing's life. Still warm he dug into it, wondering how it was that Sandfire and him were not scratching each other's eyes out.

There was a way to live civily.

  • Quicly eating up, Sandfire scented the air again for another cathc, he thought about Haki, in wich possible things the bicolored knew about this place.

  • His nose turned towards another scent, but Haki did not move from his place. He bent his head to the dead mouse and ate it silently, aware that Sandfire was still around. AY least he wasn't trying to beat Haki to death. The bicolor had gotten enough of that.

  • "Oh I wander." he mewed in an offhand fashion. "I go where the flow takes me. I've been here not long, just passing through. Though if I kept some place without maniacs I might consider really setting down." Damn loners were hell sometimes. Oh, was he berating himself? No he didn't mean those like him, though he sure hadn't met many like Haki himself. He meant those bloodish ugly, crazy loners like those who had attacked him. Damn them.

  • "Oh! I see..." Sandfire look away from Haki, trying to spot something far far away. His gaze then fell on a small pond. Upon it, there was a little cave. "Maybe we could find shelter there" he asked Haki, pointing the little cave with is tail.

  • Funny how they had gone from estranged enemies to this kind of odd relationship. Haki couldn't put his mind around the matter, but decided that all around, it didn't matter that much. Altogether, as long as this was not some back stabbing kind of loner, he would be alright with spending a night with such a specimen. There was nothing to envy yet, but nothing that required any kind of about face yet either. It was curious how one could go about and not meet any decent cat, so come to the belief that there were none but themselves. "I suppose that would be a wise idea." the black and white bicolor nodded his head. This cat had really just invited himself along... or invited Haki? He wasn't sure, he couldn't tell. Either way it was awkward and he was wary that they would be too much together. It was just one night though, right? What harm could be done... Old scars minded him that harm could be done.

  • "Sigh", Sandfire retorted, he wasnt so sure about anything. This was kind of odd, to have another cat with him, but he dint want to fight, and he wanted to see the world. So anyway, he slowly padded inside the cave. Too lost in his thoughts, he did'nt notice the odd smells of stale blood. Just as he was haflway in, with Haki behind him, did he see two gleaming yellow eyes. Sandfire let out and surprised gasp and quickly backed away from the entrance. Just as he backed up into Haki, the badger threw himself claws out just were Sandfire was standing. Sandfire wanted just a good night sleep, not a fight, but it clearly looked like he would have to fight for his shelter tonight. He wandered if Haki was still behind him, had he run away? Sandfire did'nt take the liberty the look, preparing his pounce against the badger's arched back...

  • "You idiot!" Haki exclaimed. There was nothing a cat was worth to endanger his life over a cave that could be found elsewhere. He slept under the stars often enough that it didn't matter. He didn't want to get laied for a few months. Nice of him to keep it busy. the black and white bicolor thought as he pelted away. Honestly, he should turn and run. But what of his life? I don't really care. And it was true.

  • Has Sandfire was just about to leap on to the badger, it fled away. Sandfire was astonished. He did'nt have to do anything! But, he sundenlly realized the badger couldnt have been scared by him. He heard a trashing noise behind him, the same as a twoleg Tree-Eater. "Quick, into the cave!" He mewed at Haki : "He wont get us there!"

  • Stupid twolegs. Haki bit off a curse and thrust his wiry body into the shelter, immediately searching in the cave-dark dimness for further crevices that a cats could easily push themselves into, but monsters, twolegs, and badgers would all be harder pressed to come and harm them. I have eventful days. The black and white bicolor thought furiously with a quick glance behind him.

  • Right behind came in Sandfire, he found a very small crevice in wicht he was able to shove is hind legs and all the way up to his neck. He waited there till he heard the twolegs going further and further. It looked like they did'nt notice the two cats. Sandfire let out a small sigh and turned to Haki : "Wath do we do now?" He asked...

  • "Get out of here, of course. Most likely the badger will be back, and beyond that, any place with twolegs is definitely not a good place to be staying." Haki didn't feel ill disposed towards the tom; his odd way of having little emotion made sure of that. But the black and white bicolor didn't think that spending his time with Sandfire was perhaps one of the wisest courses of action, especially after that spectical.

  • "Good, I know a place not far from here, it stinks a little bit, but nether twolegs, badgers or other cats are likely to find us there." Right that moment, Sandfire wasnt thinking, he just had revealed to this loner is safeplace."Its an old twolegs nest, but it does quit good." Dang tought Sandfire after he notices is mistake... "I hope Haki wont want to stay there, maybe a night or two...but no more" Sandfire was kinda lost in is mind. "GAHHH, why am I being so grateful towards this loner. Probably because he's not chasing me like the others...that gang o' rogues..."
