missunderstood tom kit needs someone to understand him. (she cats needed )

    dappledkit looked at his feet as everyone else in the camp went to sleep. no one liked him because he was blind in his blue eye and half blind in his green eye and he has anger issues. they just didnt get that some of his evil fathers blood is in him. who would help him see the good in others and help him get his green eye's sight back rather then see the world in a blur of strange things? who?

    Shadefang pushed past him. 'Outta my way, runt.' She snarled.


    Silverdapple looked up. 'Shadefang! He's just a kit. Apoligise immediately!' She scolded her daughter.


    'Sorry.' Shadefang muttered, still looking furious. She stalked into the clearing.


    'Dear, are you all right?' Silverdapple pulled him close with her long, silver tail.

    He growled slightly at shadefang, but stopped himself."I'm ok, and yet I'm not. Tonight I am becoming an apprentice and I can't see!" he said almost waking the clan. A tear rolled down his face.

    Silverdapple drew him closer with her tail, and rasped a warm tongue over his small head.

    Duststream walked over to him. "they wouldn't make you an apprentice if they didn't think you were ready." she said kindly. "I think you will make a great warrior, no matter about your eyesight." she purred.

    Viperkit bounced around with her 2nd favourite moss ball and threw it at Dappledkit. "throw it back!" she called happily.

    he smiled at them all. he turned to viper kit. he felt around for the ball of moss, and passed it to her. with his good eye, he played with her.

    "you're pretty good for a tom!" Viperkit knows that if she mentioned his blindness she'll be looking for her ears. She jumped at the moss ball, and rolled head over tail towards the other kit stopping only a mouse tail away from Dappledkit's nose.

    Viperkit picked up the ball and mumbled through it, "this ball needs a wash, come with me to the river?"

    Silverdapple watched him with as much fondness as though he was her own kit. "Remember, I can help you, if you need it."

    Viperkit dabbed the moss in the water and lay it out to dry, she cautiously ventured, "what does it feel like... to be blind?"

    "Alone. No color. Kind of like you before you opened your eyes, but it lasts forever. I can kind of see through my right eye." he said taking a drink.

    Viperkit sat up and closed her eyes trying to feel what it's like to be blind, she walked around trying to find Dappledpaw but bumped into a tree instead, "OW! Well I sure don't like to be blind"
