Rapidtail wove through the grass, getting closer to their meeting place. It was a new moon, and the night was almost pitch black. When she reached the site, she sat down, shifting to keep her growing belly comfortable.

Rapidtail returned his purr, rubbing her head under his chin. "I'm going to have our kits any day now," she mewed to him. "They moved me to the nursery today."

Rapidtail looked up at him. "I think that it would be better if I had the kits in Shadowclan," she mewed. "You could say I was a loner that you took as your mate, and that I decided to join your Clan."
