  • Greenbriar dropped her prey onto the pile and nodded at Winterpaw. "They were hiding from the cold."

  • WinterPaw looked down at the mice and nodded toward GreenBriar. WinterPaw then stretched shaking her pelt and looked at GreenBriar. "Well do you need me to do anything else before I go to my nest for the night?" WinterPaw meowed and then yawned

  • "No, you go ahead and sleep," Greenbriar replied, already heading towards the warriors' den.

  • WinterPaw quickly nodded and the pure white she-cat walked calmly back to the apprentice den.

    [Time skip?]

  • OOC: sure.

IC: Greenbriar awoke to the sound of racous calling. Crow, she thought. Stupid bird. I hope someone catches you today. She walked out of the warrior's den and hastily groomed herself.

  • The crows caw was ubrutely cut off as WinterPaw sank her fangs into its soft throat. WinterPaw landed gently on the ground the bird still in her jaws. The birds black feathers were not even damaged showing a clean kill. WinterPaw didn't even notice she landed right in front of the warrior's den and saw her mentor licking her paw. WinterPaw licked her jaws before greeting her mentor. "Morning GreenBriar." WinterPaw meowed calmly.

  • Greenbriar looked up and smiled at Winterpaw. "Nice kill. That bird was getting on my nerves."

  • Winterpaw purred and then pointed with her white paw toward the crow. "Do you want it then?" The she-cat asked

  • "Thanks, I would." She bent down and took a small bite of the juicy meat. "Are you going to have any?"

  • Winterpaw smiled and purred and bent down to take a couple bites of the bird.

  • Greenbriar finished her portion and licked the last traces of blood from her lips. "So," she mewed casually. "how about some battle training this morning?"

  • Winterpaw quickly perked up as she smiled at Greenbriar. "Yes please! I wanna learn some new moves!" The white apprentice meowed excitedly and tried hard to keep from bouncing around like a kit.

  • Greenbriar couldn't supress a smile at Winterpaw's enthusiasm. "Good. I know a place where we can practice a bit more... three dimensionally," she mewed, flicking her cinnamon tail as she padded out of camp.

  • Winterpaw head tilted slightly to the left. Three dimensionally? Winterpaw had never heard of this phrase before and she was curious to what its definition was. But she didn't ask having a feeling Greenbriar would explain it as they got to the training area. Winterpaw swiftly got up and followed her mentor her white fur becoming ruffled in the wind. She left claw marks where she had climbed over a log but she had become stronger so she was used to this type of exercise and wasnt phased. Winterpaw kept a steady pace with her mentor as her eyes were directed forward

[I think is the longest post I have posted all weak XD]

  • Greenbriar led her to what had once been a river. All that was left now was a winding ditch and rocks that had been swept there by the water. Some weren't much more than pebbles, but at the widest part of the riverbed was an outcropping of granite, high and worn smooth by the water. The tops of the boulders almost reached the branches of willows of trees that grew up on the banks. Greenbriar climbed to the top of one of the boulders and mewed to Winterpaw "Height can be used as an advantage in battle. Can you think how?"

  • Winterpaw looked up at Greenbriar. "Well thats easy, its perfect for surprising your enemies and performing an ambush!" The white apprentice said coffidently.

  • "Good answer. We'll have to practice ambushes on a different day, though, when it won't be so obvious," Greenbriar mewed. "For now, I want to practice fighting in unusual terrain like this." Suddenly, she lept down towards Winterpaw, aiming to pin her down.

  • Winterpaw was surprised that Greenbriar leaped at her and due to her height of the leap Greenbriar came down fast than she anticipated. Winterpaw nearly yowled as she was knocked onto her back and her head nearly missed a rock that was behind her. Then Winterpaw thought about her training and put up her back legs aiming to kick the senior warrior off of her.

  • "Oof!" she grunted, rolling away from the apprentice. Greenbriar righted herself, then lunged forward and swept out a paw to hit Winterpaw's flank.

  • Winterpaw couldn't help but smile as she had kicked her mentor off. Winterpaw then quickly leaped to her feet and then saw Greenbriar trying to swipe her flank. The senior apprentice quickly leaped foward and the take just skimmed her fur which was a near miss. But Winterpaw didn't stop running. She then leaped onto the rock Greenbriar had leaped from and then decided to hide in the rocks. She quickly jumped down behind the rock and looked around for somewhere to hide. The white apprentice then saw a opening between two large rocks just large enough for a apprentice and she sprinted toward it, now just a streak of white fur. Winterpaw quickly climbed into the hole and turned around so she was crouched at the opening but her paws and face remained hidden under the rock
