WinterPaw smiled at her mentor and brought over the mouse. Heat still radiated from its small body from being freshly killed. "Want me to go get more?" She meowed at GreenBriar. Her pelt prickled with excitement from her first kill.

"Thanks, but no," Greenbriar mewed. "I think we should do a bit of battle training instead."

WinterPaw jumped up excitedly. "Yes please!" She meowed

"Okay. Now attack me," Greenbriar instructed. "I want to see what you can already do."

WinterPaw nodded and slowly started to circle GreenBriar. She then leaped onto the air acting like she wanted to attack her flank but she was actually trying to grab her tail.

Greenbriar's tail was trapped. She whirled around and swatted at Winterpaw - claws sheathed, of course.

WinterPaw quickly ducked under GreenBriars paw and leaped targetting her back. GreenBriars tail trapped under her back paws until she leaped into the air.

Greenbriar slithered away and turned to face Whitepaw, taking a swipe at her side.

WinterPaw underrestimated her opponets speed and quickly felt the paw hit her side. She quickly recovered and ran past GreenBriar shooting out her paw trying to knock her off balance.

Greenbriar stumbled for a moment before righting herself and pounced at Winterpaw, going for the shoulders.

Using her momentum WinterPaw quickly spun around and launched herself at where she just was trying to tackle GreenBriar.

Greenbriar was hit. She rolled with it, trying to end up on top.

Using her back legs while she was rolling she timed it correctly and jumped off of GreenBrair. She almost lost her balance but quickly balanced herself again.

Greenbriar lept up and dove straight at Winterpaw's side, aiming to knock her over.

WinterPaw was quickly knocked over and rolled onto her back. She kept her front and back paws up to protect her soft belly and to kick GreenBriar off if she tryed to leap on her.

Greenbriar attempted to pummel Winterpaw's flank with her forepaws, rather than go for the belly since her apprentice had the sense to protect it.

WinterPaw quickly felt something hit her flank and quickly leaped up lunging at her mentor.

Greenbriar was knocked over. She battered at Winterpaw's underside with her hind paws and reached up to grab her with her front paws.

WinterPaw quickly leaped up and crouched low her tail tucked underneath her so it wouldn't be grabbed as she waited for her mentors move.

Greenbriar reared up and brought her weight down towards Winterpaw. It would be enough to wind her, but she wasn't large enough to cause serious injury.
