He swam through yet another door, and pulled himself onto a dry platform, gulping in air as he looked for Lanex

Lanex had gotten rust in her eyes when she had swum through the hatch and lost her way. She was now in a completely different part of the ship.

he dove back down and looked around for her

Lanex had found another air bubble at the ceiling of one of the rooms. She was gasping and rubbing at her eyes.

Drayke popped up next to her. "I said to stay close. Keep my hand. We're not far."

Lanex stuck her tongue out at him. She took his hand.

"Now, stay close." He dove back down

Lanex closed her eyes as she went under with him.

he brought her to the platform and hoisted her up onto it

Lanex opened her eyes and smiled at him.

he smiled. "Alright, check this out." He pulled a treasure chest out from under a sheet

Lanex's eyes widened. "What's in it?"

"Treasure." He smiled and pulled chain from his neck with an old skeleton key on it.

Lanex grinned. "It seems like you've been here before."

he nodded. "Sort of." He smiled and pulled the key off his neck

Lanex snorted. "Nice."

"Well, this ship is sort of a family heirloom." he said, unlocking the chest

Lanex laughed. "But it's underwater!"

"It belonged to my great-great-grandfather." HE smiled
