Ravenkit was born still. He did not know of this yet and mewed out. He had no hunger, yet he was still a young kit. He pushed his way forward in order to find his mom and drink some milk. He yowled. Where was mommy?

Stonestill watched the poor little kit squirm, searching for his mother. She had seen too much of the same scene many times during her life in StarClan. She was lucky, for she was blessed with two fine kits, Frostleopard and Icetiger.
"Hello, little kit," the queen mewed. -
Ravenkit blindly charged to the sound of a warrior's voice. He sniffed the cat, hoping to find milk and food.
-
"Don't worry little one," Stonestill nuzzled the kit affectionately. "You won't go hungry in StarClan. All suffering is gone."
She licked the kit, hoping to bring it some warmth. -
Ravenkit started to open his frail eyes. He could not see anything but trees. He felt someone licking his fur. "Mom?" he asked. He wondered where he was.
-
"I'm not your mother, young one," Stonestill licked the kit tenderly. "You'll be safe with me."
"Let me introduce myself. I am Stonestill, a queen of TC." -
"You need to take care of Ravenkit." A voice talked next to Stonestill.
-
The beautiful queen turned with surprise. Who is this cat?
-
Ravenkit looked at the strange cat. He stared at the cat in awe. "Who are you?" he asked, scooting closer to Stonestill.
-
"I'm your father's mentor's mother," Stonestill explained. "I was killed saving my kits from getting hit by a monster. Who are you, little one?"
-
Ravenkit, being a kit of course, had no name yet. He never knew what he was going to be called by his parents in Thunderclan. Of course, he had no idea that Stonestill was not his mom. He assumed that she just was.
-
<<Can I do the name thing to call him Ravenkit?>>
Stonestill licked the kits head. "Come, let's get you into a nice dry den."
The kind queen picked Ravenkit up by the scruff of his neck and padded into her designated sleeping spot. She dropped the tiny kit into the soft warm fluff bedding. -
ooc: Sure idk :P
Ravenkit squealed with protest when he was dropped into the soft bedding. He immediatly purred as he started to fall asleep. Even stillborn kits can have their days.
-
Stonestill began warming the kit up by licking him. "Hmm...your pelt is as black as a raven's and shiny too. Like their feathers, you sparkle with a rainbow of colors. Your name will be Ravenkit."
The queen wrapped herself around the small tom and nuzzled him to sleep. -
Ravenkit smiled widely as he was named. He thought about it. He realized that this queen was not his mother. She looked too thin to be a queen. He thought carefully. "Where is momma?" he asked.
-
"Oh dear," Stonestill muttered under her breath. It was going to be hard to break it for him. "You're mother is not here, little one."
The silver queen gently shifted some nice fluffy moss against Ravenkit. -
Ravenkit thought carefully. This cat indeed did not have the smell of his mother. He felt that he had smelt a bit of it when he was born. He thought carefully. "Am..I..dead?" he asked. The word just came to him. He had a sort of understanding what that meant but not a definite meaning.
-
Stonestill looked sadly at the kit. "I'm afraid...yeah, you are," she muttered bluntly. "Oh you poor kit."
She gave the kit's head another tender lick. -
Ravenkit shivered. "What exactly is d-dead?" he asked timidly.
-
"You're not alive anymore," she explained gently. Oh, how was she supposed to explain it? The queen scanned for words, but she could not find anymore to add to her explanation.
