  • Skypaw padded in from an independent hunt, tossing a mouse carelessly on the small fresh kill pile. Boredom washed over her like a heavy rainfall. The tabby she-cat had nothing to do thus made her way over to the apprentices den and laid down outside of it, dusting away the snow before laying down. Her crystal blue eyes gleamed. She was lonely; bored. Nothing to do...

    { somewhat looking for a crush for Skypaw .3. }

  • Berrypaw stretched, muscles rippling slightly under his cream coat, it was flicked with grey spots. He padded out into the forest, scouting around the trees for food. He arrived back to camp and saw Skypaw. '' Hey! '' He purred to her.

  • "Hey Berrypaw," Skypaw mewed with a smile. "Are you as bored as I am?" she added with a sigh, tiliting her head. Perhaps Berrypaw would keep her company. Her eyes glowed as her tail swayed, gently swishing the snow this way and that.

  • '' Depends, '' Berrypaw laughed slightly with a grin. '' Wanna see something cool? '' He asked with a grin, he crouched down and his tail waved slightly in the air. He was indeed bored, he had done nothing but clean out elders dens for about three moons now.

  • Skypaw smiled. "Sure," she mewed with a nod, curious to see what he would do. She sat up curiously, eyes wide and shining like cyan crystals in the sunlight.

  • Berrypaw grinned an let out a slightly rare laugh, he padded away from camp again and dove down a small tunnel that was narrow at first, but slowly widened.

  • Skypaw followed slowly, keeping close to Berrypaw. She gasped; a cave! "This is amazing, Berrypaw," she breathed.

  • Berrypaw laughed slightly. '' I'm glad you like it! But that's not all of it! '' He grinned again, he walked over to the other side of the large cave. He pushed aside some lichen and appeared a long tunnel, light shone from the end of it, lighting up the cave like the sun.

  • Skypaw's eyes lit up. It was amazing. "This is beautiful," she exclaimed, tail swaying high in the air now and eyes wide with interest. With a smirk she straightened up and perked her ears and announced, "Welcome to SkyClan! I am your leader, Skystar!" She purred with a laugh. "And of course my deputy Berryclaw," added the apprentice.

  • "Berryskies; I like it," Skypaw mewed playfully. Suddenly she felt like a kit again, playing with the others in the nursery without a care in the world. She smiled at the wonderful, care-free feeling.

  • Berryskies beamed back brilliantly, he laughed and crouched down, a thin slither of water came from the entrance of the cave. He splashed a little towards Skystar.

  • Skypaw gasped as water was playfully flicked at her, her gasp breaking into a giggle. She stalked past Berrypaw, dipped her own paw in the tiny icy river and flicked him back with another mischievous giggle. "Nobody splashes the mighty Skystar," she teased jokingly.

  • Berrypaw laughed. '' Oh really? '' He grinned and ducked down under the water, then suddenly flicked up again when he was near Skypaw, covering her in thick watery droplets. '' Ha ha! ''

  • Skypaw burst out in laughter, shaking the water off and sending the icy cold droplets flying at Berrypaw. She smirked and dipped both her front paws and her tail and splashed it at Berrypaw with a giggle. The water was freezing thus she shivered, but she paid no mind to this. She then tackled Berrypaw playfully, pinning him down. "You are no match to the great Skystar!" she declared teasingly.

  • Skypaw soon broke out in a purr. As her giggling subsided she realized how cold she was; the water in her pelt plus the chilly breeze that wafted in left her quite chilly. She tried to lick the water out, only to dampen her pelt even more and cause further cold. She swept her glance to the exit of the tunnel tail-lengths away; the sun had slipped away leaving the moon to shine in it's place.

  • The moon shone down on the river and gave it a mysterious, eerie yet beautiful glowing shine. '' Should we get back to camp? '' Berryskies asked Skystar with a grin, siding by her to share his never ending warmth.

  • Skystar felt blush come to her cheeks as he slipped closer to her, sharing his warmth. "I'm sure no cat will mind us staying here tonight," she suggested with a giggle, "it's quite peaceful. I wouldn't mind missing out on all the snoring of the apprentices den."
