Burnt took a moment to scent the air. After that moment he blinked his unseeing eyes. "If we go left we will meet a dog that is wandering about. Taking the path we are on will lead us into Twolegs. So we must go right," he mewed softly.

"What if I want to go left?" Flame asked

"We may be able to fend off the dog. I make no promises though Flame. He may be to big to fight. We could always out run him though," Burnt replied calmly.

Pearl sniffed the air and nodded. "Burnt is right. I'd rather got left as well...but our number is small. We might not be able to defeat him." She said.

"Well I am your leader and I say we go left towards the dog." Flame annonced

Pearl nodded. "I know you are our leader. I'm your mate. And I'm just advising you. I wanted to go that way too!" She hissed. She calmed down a little bit after that though.

"Advising me job is Burnt's job and I choose wheither I go along with his advice or not." Flame mewed with pride

night was next to pearl,"i think we'll be fine as long as flame's with us..."

"Of course you will, afterall I did chase Crookedmind out of our territory and he was my father's student." Flame II mewed

she smiled proudly at him,"yup!"

"Now who is ready to fight some dog?" Flame asked

her tail rose to indicate she was ready.

Flame started to go left humming a tune

moon walked out of the elders den,his fur shining in the light.

Pearl nodded. "I know all of this. I just get slightly worried when we get into a battle that's not with another Clan or a group of loners." She said. She then nodded, signaling that she was ready to go.

"its ok, pearl!"night smiled sweetly

"Hurry up slow snails!" Flame mewed over his shoulder

Flame started to hum again
