Daniel nodded "Hold on... Night, have you checked upstairs since you looked into the garden?"

Mercy walked down the street looking all around her cautiously

Night looked up from her Chicken. "Whath?" She asked though a mouthful.

Blake walked in followed by the policeman before Daniel could reply. The police went straight out back.
Daniel looked at her "I don't want to scare you but what if whoever did this is still in the house?"
Blake turned to his normal self.

Mercy walked towards her house and noticed the door was open. "Hello?!" she yelled walking in. She heard something hit the floor "Jane?! Dad?!" she yelled. The house had obviously been broken into.

Night swallowed thoughtfuly. "No. He's not." She said flatly, then started nibbling (not chewign, just nibbling) the chicken again, looking at him. She waited for a retort which was sure to come.

"Have you checked?" He smiled.
The policeman walked in from the garden "Which one of you lives here?"

Nights hand raised up to about head-heigth. "I know he's not here, because Russet isn't growling at everything." She patted the brown dog at her feet, which happily wagged his tail, completely blissful to what was happening.

He nodded.
The police looked at her "If you live here, I'm going to have to bring you into the police station for some questions"

Night held up her hands above her head. "I don't know anything." he said truthfully. "Only what happened when I woke up.

"I know" he sighed and looked around "but I'm going to have to question all of you."

Night groaned inwardly and face-palmed. 'Why did I fall asleep? Why do I have to go through this? Why me? Why now? Why here?

The policeman walked out of the door and added "come to the station when you can" he walked away.

Night glared out of the window to the police swarming over the yard, taking blood samples and what-not.

Daniel came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder "you ok?"

Night looked up at him blankly for a minute. Then she bliinked. "I'm sorry. What did you say? I zoned out."

"Are you ok" he repeated worriedly.
Blake walked out of the toilet back in his normal clothes.

"Yeah..... Why?" She leaned back in her chair, just barely keeping four legs on the floor.

He shrugged "well just considering what happened-"
He was interrupted by Blake who walked over and said "I just spoke to Sky, we need to get back"
