    Yumi (a gray fox) yowled as the lead bullet hit her side. She scrambled away, half way to her den the bullet fell down to the leaves. She ran some more, but fell down in pain. She curled in a ball. She cried, and was bleeding alot. This was why she didn't like two-legs. She cried, in agony.

    Kovu, a grayish black fox, could her the cries from a mile away. Shes going to scare all the prey away! He followed the cries and saw her curled in a ball. He hurriedly ran over there. "It's going to be ok. He started lucking the blood off.

    Kovu started worrying. He didn't have any knowledge of herbs "It's ok. Everything will play out nicely" he looked around for something he knew. Marigold. That's something familiar. He nipped off a few. Oh crap, he thought, am I supposed to make her eat it or put it in her wound. Oh well!

    "Ok, you know what, we need some cobwebs" he dropped the herbs by her flank and padded off to find some cobwebs. Alright kovu, he thought, if you where a cobweb where would you be?

    Kovu hated spiders. So whenever he put his paw in a dark place to look for he flinched. When he finally found some, he swore he could feel a spider crawl up his paw. God, this better work he thought. He cane back and got a better look at the woud. A bullet hole! Stupid two hoppers. He carefully placed the cobwebs in the wound.

    Yumi felt the cold cobwebs, and gasped. She got out of thought, and felt her pain again. She breathed in and out deeply.

    Oh god. He had no idea what to do now. He started licking the dried blood off.
