  • DarkEco sighed contently, but looked up at the sky, "I wonder if Heart is Ok with us..." he meowed, his purring ceasing.

  • "Yeah..." DarkEco had eyes closed and his tail around his body. The light wind buffed the dark fur of the rugged tom, blowing his pelt into Sunkiss' face, "Sorry," he chuckled, batting his fur down with his large paw.

  • Sunkiss let out a purr of amusement.
"It's ok..." Her voice trailed off.
That always used to happen with Stormwhistle... She thought.

  • DarkEco looked down at Sunkiss, the larger cat towering over the smaller, "You Ok? You sound...distressed..." he meowed, concerned, licking the top of her head.

  • DarkEco followed Sunkiss' gaze with his curved claws digging into the ground, he heard it too, "What is that?" he hissed quietly as he began to stand, leaving nothing to chance.

  • "It better not be!" Sunkiss hissed, fur bristling. Just as she spoke a fox came out of a bush infront of them. It jumped/leapt at Sunkiss and bit down on her neck. Sunkiss let out a yowl of pain and tried to claw it off, but she couldn't.

  • DarkEco watched as the giant form of the fox attacked Sunkiss. Rage, mixed with his memories, burst from his muzzle, "Heart! NO!" he screeched, paralyzed with fear.

  • Sunkiss let out another yowl of pain as the fox's teeth dug deeper into her neck.
"DarkEco! Help!" She gasped, not able to fight the fox off her. It was bad, if the fox got attacked and got pulled off her then her neck would be really bad, because the teeth were in deep and it would rip her neck.

  • DarkEco shook the paralysis from his head as he hissed loudly, "I'm coming, Heart!" he shouted, not completely in the right time and place. The tom dashed forward and leapt at the fox, landing on it's neck. His curved claws dug deep into the beast's skin as he felt the warm blood on his paws, "Let her go!" he yowled as he twisted his paws, causing the wound on it's neck to open more.
