Jadepaw reacted quickly, jumping to the next tree like a squirrel. soon she began to take a larger lead, and spurred on flying through the foliage.

Linxpelt watched as her apprentice started to curve and round around her, she leaped in her path and stood in her way.
-
Jadepaw was going very fast, and almost stopped when her mentor jumped right in front of her. she made a split second decision. Bearing down on the tree, she gave a huge leap and jumped to the limb above her. she traveled up a few more branches, then continued forward.
-
Linxpelt purred then leaped in her path and yowled," Thats great! Good job." she flicked her tail.
-
Jadepaw stopped, barely breathing hard. She smiled at her mentor's compliments, no one ever gave her compliments. "Er...thanks."
-
Linxpelt purred and tapped her on the head with a paw," You got caught. I didn't say stop, just that you did well." she let out some choaks of laughter.
-
Jadepaw chuckled. "Now how was i supposed to know that?" she asked leaping to a branch below her.
-
Linxpelt smiled," Don't let your enemy trick you."
-
"Oh please," she said, climbing up the next tree. "Do you think if a rouge cat did that I would stop?" she smiled teasingly. "I may be young, but i would not say that i am stupid."
-
"What I meant wasn't that they would compliment you, it was that they have some tricks up their ears."
-
Jadepaw smiled. "I've met rouges, they do have a few tricks." she said. "But I have experienced some of them, and learned how to trick them back." she jumped to the next tree, missed the branch, and fell to the branch below it, landing with ease. "I really enjoyed out-running them in the trees, its much harder to corner a kit in a tree." :)
-
"Is it? Okay, lets go to practice our digging, I could brush up as well." Linxpelt dropped to land beside her apprentice.
-
Jadepaw was confused. "Digging? why?"
-
" You will see. I have a new move that nobody knows about." She bounded off into the woods.
-
Jadepaw followed after her.
-
Stopping at a empty area, a small clearing," Dig, fast as your can."
-
Jadepaw unsheathed her long, silver claws and begun to dig a hole in the soft ground. "how deep do you want it?"
-
"Stop and watch me." she instructed. Digging into the ground she sunk all her claws into the soft dirt. She rolled forward and dust and dirt flew behind her." That would have weakened the enemy's senses. "
-
"oh," she said. "that makes sense." she sunk her claws into the dirt and rolled forward, making dust fly behind her. "Like that?"
-
"Perfect, now practice on walking then getting your claws in fast to dash off with the dust spray." instructed Linxpelt.
