"Great job, now lets get a move on and star hunting." Linxpelt purred and looked to a bush. She sprang forward and finished a Squirrel. Dropping it on the ground, she covored it in dirt."So other hunters don't get it. Like a fox."
-
Jadepaw thought for a minute. "why don't foxes just catch their own food?" she asked
-
"Sometimes, or they eat crowfood when times are bad." meowed Linxpelt, rinkling her nose in discust.
-
"Maybe its because they're part dog, dogs are disgusting!" she concluded
-
linxpelt nodded,"Yeah." she scrunched her nose.
-
"Do we have enough fresh kill?" she asked
-
Linxpelt nodded through the squirrel in her jaws."Lefs goo gef da utar fruch kulw daf whe covrt." she mumbled through the plump prey.
ooc: Lets go get the other prey that we covored.
-
"Alright." mewed Jadepaw, unearthing a mouse she had caught earlier.
-
Linxpelt started to uncovor the earier caught prey and let it hang from her jaws. Soon they had a load that they could barrly carry back to the came."when you get back to the camp, make sure that the elders are feed before you eat." she mewed under the weight of the fresh-kill.
-
"OK," she said, trying her best to balance a squirrel on her muzzle.
-
They entered the camp and Linxpelt bounded over to the Fresh-kill pile. It was larger than when they left, and grew slightly when she added her prey.
-
Jadepaw dropped her pieces of fresh kill into the pile and couldn't help feeling proud.
-
Linxpelt sat near the pile and purred," Nice job today Jadepaw, you have a very nice additude." She looked to the pile,"Take some food the the elders, then take something for yourself and go eat. Remember that your in the apprentices den now."
-
"Cool." she replied, picking up a fat squirrel and taking it to the elders. They smiled at her as she returned to the pile. she got a small vole and went to the apprentice den to munch on it.
-
Linxpelt walked over to another warrior, speaking the day's news and grooming."Jadepaw is great in training, she has the hang of Mice catching already!" meowed Linxpelt prowdly.
-
Jadepaw saw Linxpelt talking to another warrior. hopefully she wasn't complaining about her training that day. she had tried to do her best. she settled down in the moss and drifted off...
-
Linxpelt finished grooming and chatting with her friend, then padded into the warriors den. She let her eyes close into a dreamless rest.
-
Jadepaw slowly awoke the next morning. She was tired from the previous day, but a bit excited as well. maybe today she would learn those fighting moves! she stretched out and walked into the clearing.
-
Linxpelt stretched and leaped up from her slumber then next day, running into the clearing to wait for her apprentice. Today...mabye a couple fighting moves, then tree climbing.
