Many cats after the Great Battle, were either exiled for killing or fled the battle in fear. After the battle, the Clans decided it was safer to not trust anyone else. The ancestors abandoned the cats in their time of need. The leaders were all dead. The cats dispersed. They moved far far away, some staying behind. Some made the journey and became kittypets. Others, long later, formed two friendly Clans: SunClan and MoonClan. The two neighbors still battle and hunt, tresspass and borrow, but they refuse to start a Great Battle and rarely see each other. They live near a mountain, and gather every full moon.
