Blur pounced, but the grasshopper hopped away before he could land on it. Mewling, and tried again, with the same result.

Sharow, a white cheetah, stalked the grass watching a rabbit. Then her view slid to something else. A lonely cheetah cub. "Hello?" she called out, hoping the cub wouldn't run away. She was so sad about her mate dying, and her cub running off.
Looks:

-
"Mroww?" He asked, he was not old enough to really talk yet.
-
Sharow looked out at the cub. "Where's your mother?" she asked.
-
He cocked his head to one side, and mewed sadly.
-
Sharow's eyes widened. "What happened?" she asked the cub, walking slowly up to him.
-
"Boom." He said sadly.
-
"Boom... Someone... S-Shot her?" she asked.
-
"Mew." The cub said, nodding his fluzzy gold head.
-
Sharow looked at him in sorrow. "Same with my mate..." she murmured.
-
"Maeow?" He asked.
-
"Can you come with me to my pride?" she asked.
-
He bounced up and down happily. "Mew Mew!"
-
"OK!" she said, as she started walking.
-
Blur bounded after her, tripping on his tail ocasianally.
-
Sharow looked at him with pain. Her cub that had run away looked like this.
-
Blur didn't notice, and happily walked alongside her.
-
A purr rose in Sharow's throat.
-
Blur walked along, mewing to himself.
-
Sharow put her tail in front of his face, making it go up and down.
