"Possession by a spirit" questions!

    So say I have a cat. This cat is only meant to be possessed for a short while, as a mouthpiece for a higher being; would I still need to buy possession from the shop? Basically, if the possessions are brief, do users need to buy possession from the shop? What if they're longer possessions, but are not meant to be permanent (I'm pretty sure the answer to this one is a yes, but I wanted to check anyway)?

    Okay, so I actually do have one more question; is the possession by a spirit reusable, or do you have to get a new one each time you want a possession to happen or a different entity possesses a character?
