  • ooc: lets try this again.

ic: Zinnialeaf padded into Nightstar's den. "Nightstar? I have someone I'd like you to meet,"she said looking around for the leader. The she-cat turned around to see if Tailcloud was following her. She turned to look at the leader again. "This is Tailcloud,"she pointed at him with her tail. "He used to be a clan cat but then he went to live as a loner. Tailcloud is wondering if he can join Thunderclan with me. I am currently pregnant with his kits." She smiled at him. Zinnialeaf nodded at him so he could add anything he wanted to tell the leader.

  • "Hello, Zinnialeaf." Nightstar murmured, subdued at the moment and more welcoming to whatever news the warrior had to bring than he would of been, lately. He stretched out and rose to a stand, listening to what she had to say before facing her again, immediate with a reply. "What Clan was he from, and why did he leave -- if on his own will?" If Tailcloud had lived in a Clan before and that didn't work out for him, the leader doubted that ThunderClan would.

  • "I lived in Windclan," Tailcloud replied, "And I left because, then, clan life didn't appeal with me. But now," he looked loveingly at Zinnialeaf, "Now, I think I'd like to try over." He moved a little closer to the leader of Thunderclan. He could see Nightstar clearly now. He looked like the type of cat that was loyal to their clan, one that cared about the safty of everyone.

OOC: I'm not sure what clan he was from :P I adopted him.

  • Nightstar frowned, getting the feeling that Tailcloud in fact simply wanted to live with his mate rather than get a second chance at Clan life. His experience in WindClan should of been enough for him to let him know whether he was meant to be a Clan cat or better off a loner. Then again, Tailcloud might of left back when WindClan was boarding with ThunderClan in leafbare, after their territory burnt down. It would make sense that a cat wouldn't be thinking clearly in such a stressful, traumatic situation, and could make a decision they would regret.

"You have a warrior name...I'm guessing you were a warrior back when you left WindClan? And how long ago did you leave that Clan?" The ThunderClan leader then asked, shifting his gaze from Zinnialeaf to the loner.

  • Zinnialeaf watched as Nightstar questioned Tailcloud. She looked down at her belly and smiled. The cat looked back at the two toms. She hoped Nightstar would let Tailcloud stay. She wrapped her tail around her paws and waited for Tailcloud to answer.

  • "I was a young one," Tailcloud replied, "I left, mabye, 8 moons ago? My brother died, and I never knew my father. I decided to leave." He wasn't quite sure when he left, but he thought that 8 moons was accurate. "I understand if you don't want me in your clan though, since I have spent 8 moons fending for myself. But I would like another chance to be in a clan, espesially with a loved one."

OOC: Sorry I didn't reply, I thought I had bookmaked this thread :-/

  • Tailcloud left just as WindClan was leaving ThunderClan to return to their own territory, resurrected from the wildfire in early Newleaf, and he provided no reason for leaving despite Nightstar's questioning. His being a Clan cat had heightened the leader's trust in him as being a decent ThunderClanner, but there were too many holes in his story. "Why should I believe that you would be a loyal ThunderClanner if you abandoned your birth Clan, especially after you had sworn an oath of loyalty to receive your warrior name?" He asked, tensing.

  • "Oh please Nightstar?" Zinnileaf pleaded. "If you wont let him join then Thunderclan will end up losing a warrior. If he leaves, then so do I!" Zinnialeaf threatened her leader.

ooc: Silk, It's okay. I've done that before too

  • "My decision will not by swayed the begging of a warrior." Nightstar growled, his tone darkening. "As well, ThunderClan would not need a warrior disloyal enough to leave their Clan based on a rational and just decision - I assure you it will be just that. I have not decided anyway. I am yet to hear Tailcloud's answer." He added, calming at the last note. "Zinnialeaf, I'm sorry, but if life in WindClan didn't work out for him life in ThunderClan won't either, unless he provides a substantive answer as to why he left after swearing his loyalty to his Clan."

  • Tailcloud paused for a moment, thinking of a way to put his answer. "That is an exellent question," he congragelated the Thunderclan leader, "To bad I don't have an answer. In truth, I don't know exactly why I left." He looked down, thinking again. "I wasn't good at catching rabbits, though," he murmered, "I could never run fast enough."

  • Zinnialeaf looked at Nightstar, then back to Tailcloud. She sighed as her leader called her disloyal. She still had hope though if her leader agreed with Tailcloud's reasoning.

ooc: OMG!! I'm so sorry for not posting!! I forgot all about this and I haven't been very active. :-[ Sorry!

  • OOC: Finaly! Somebody posted! :o Lol

IC: Tailcloud held is gaze. He really wanted a second chance, and if he failed this one, he didn't know what he would do.
