  • Crin tossed it into the grassy spot, he wasn't hungry, and she wasn't ether, "Midnight, do you want this?"
he then turned to Star not waiting from a reply for Midnight, "We have only so much wolves to hunt, although we don't have any mates to have pups, we still need to hunt!" he sighed, "We need more wolves for us to survive..." Crin looked at his paws, he suddenly felt uncomfortable. He got up and rummaged through the bushes and took out some branches to border the grass to make the she-wolfs more comfortable. Including kaji, he needed more support from his "friends". After all. Crin was starting to like Kaji more than before.

  • Star looked up, dawn was coming, patrols of wolves from neighboring packs would soon be coming. She looked at all of the wolves, "It was nice to meet you, Crin, Midnight, Kaji, but I need to go, patrols will be coming and- and they'll chase me away." she stood, "Thanks again." she began to walk away slowly.

  • After it, Kaji was laying on the ground, but his eyes were dull with sorrow. He sighed, wrinkling his nose at the smell of blood that still hung about him from the memories....

  • Midnight was sitting on the dge of the clearing, her back turned towards Star and Crin. She glared all er hatred at a ladtbyg, and looked like she would kill something in a few minutes.

  • Hew scrabbled up, weak as if his episodes of memories had paid a toll on his stregnth. He padded over, trying to smile at her.
"Hey...it's okay...whatever it is..." he barked softly to her, sighing as he sat down, looking at the ladybug.

  • "B-but, we can all protect you Star!" he blurted out, then looking embaressed. Crin looked at his paws, "Never mind, i guess you want to leave...." he barked, trying to sound a little cheerful.

  • Midnight sighed. Ladybugs wheren't really good things to glare ou. They usualy don't respond. "You sound tired." She said flatly, trying not to show anger to him. "Do you want me to get you soemthign to eat?"

  • Star looked back, "Thank you Crin, it's just- I have to leave I can't put you in any undo danger."

((Can he ask her to join his pack?))

  • Kaji smirked, almost laughing.
"As if I haven't already gone through hell and back!" he barked.
"Death was a gift where I came from...in the night you waited, hearing the cart squeak by as they stopped by a cage, opening it and then Pop! the gun would fire and the cart would be loaded and carted away...." he sighed.
"My brother died that way....he welcomed death....I never got the privilidge to die as soon as he did...."

  • Midnight stayed silent as she tried to grasp what he was saying. Then horror filled her. "The labatory." she breathed. "You must have been in the section we couldn't reach! I never saw you escape! How did YOU get out!?" Seh cried, standing up.

  • "The explosion...it killed all of them...though I was in the surgery room when it went off.All the walls burst out...and I was lucky to be in one piecee...." he murmured, licking his uneven fur to reveal a long pink scar on his side.
"Ripped me open...didn't get too far into bandaging myself...with that stinking head ache from that chip in my head...."

  • Midnight looked hurt. "I'm sorry... It was all my fault." She said hoarsly, starting to totaly break down. "I tried to get everyone out! I tried! And I couldn't! There was to many of them!" Now she was totaly freaking out, and not in the way you would think.

  • Crin looked down then looked at Midnight, Star, then Midnight again. "M-Midnight, do you want to take a walk with me? Maybe Star can stay here and talk with kaji for a little bit..." he nodded at Kaji, then looked at Star, "Would you stay for a lil' bit, please?" he begged, he wanted to take a walk with Midnight, maybe she would like him more, if she could really see who he was at heart. "Please...." he whispered in a pleading tone again.

  • The she-wolf padded softly through the night, her mouth slightly open, her nose to the air and her hears attentive. Traveling at night in itself was dangerous, but to do so on another's territory was asking for trouble. She paused at a small stream to lap at some water. In the moonlight her reflection stared back at her. She had a light brown coat with black and gray markings that covered her pelt, and masked her face in a beautiful pattern. Not too skinny, because she kept herself well fed on rabbits, squirrels, and other small prey, but she wouldn't be a wolf to take lightly. Her broad chest made her look powerful and the scars on her muzzle, dangerous. She pulled up from the stream quickly, her ear swiveling to the north. Wolves. She could hear their yips and barks through the silent night. She huffed a light growl that almost sounded like a scoff. She was in no danger if the owners of this territory were naive enough to make such a racket in the darkness. Curious, she made her way towards their scent and sounds, keeping low to the ground and making sure to stay down wind. She wanted to get a feel for these wolves before making herself known. "There might be a suitable male," she thought to herself.

  • The she-wolf sighed and lay down against the leaves on the floor. She crossed her front paws and lay her head lightly on top of them. Her amber eyes alert, watching the wolves through the clearing. "Lets see how long it'll take," she thought to herself, "Before they find me." She swished her tail back and forth, enjoying the thrill despite herself.

  • Midnight looked hurt. "I'm sorry... It was all my fault." She said hoarsly, starting to totaly break down. "I tried to get everyone out! I tried! And I couldn't! There was to many of them!" Now she was totaly freaking out, and not in the way you would think.

"It's aright.... they were...defective...all of the ones in that section were....even...me...."

  • Midnight tried desperatly to pay attention to Kaji. She heard, and stored it in the back of her mind for later. But... It sounded like some one just layed down in the bushes. "Hold that walk, Crin. There is a intruder." she called, not really caring if the stranger heard. "Come out. You can't hide from me. I heard the leaves crinkle when you layed down." She spoke directly to the stranger this time.
